Well I've gone for the wishbone variation tactic by using 2 fullbacks 1 halfback qb, 5 ol 2 te's and no WR'S. Yes its very run based and yes its very predictable but what can I say most of my guys started off with like 15 in strength and 15 in speed Thats my offence at least.

My defence I am going long term and have made a 3-4 tactic for eventual QB passing defense. Currently training stats stamina to at least 10 on everything, when they reach 10 I'll be probably swapping the skillset to a different area.

That's a full house backfield. it just hasn't been used in so long the terminaology fell off the face of the earth apparently

It's sort of a cross between the T-Formation and the Wishbone. Both are option offenses. No one really runs the T-Formation anymore (last popular with Oklahoma in the 1950's). The Wishbone is still around at some colleges, but most often in the form of the Flexbone (Navy and Georgia Tech run the Flexbone).

The T-Formation has 2HBs and a FB lined up side by side behind the QB and employs two TEs. The Wishbone also has 2HBs and a FB, but the FB lines up in front of the HBs (he is the first option in the triple option offense). The Wishbone usually had one WR out wide with a TE on the other side of the formation, but some teams did employ two TEs instead.

The Wishbone was really an offensive set that grew out of the use of the T-Formation. If you want to see how the Flexbone is still effective in today's college football, watch some of Georgia Tech's games from this year or the past couple years at Navy. Paul Johnson is the master of the triple option.
