Congrats! It's not the same as a big league win over a human since you never know what lineup the team is going with in a friendly, but it still is something to get excited about.

Sounds like you got a pretty good team. Stick with it and don't get discouraged by being out of the league race this year, and you may find yourself in contention next year.

Coaches Comments determine how long the transition takes.

For example: Joe Bloggs is a 2.5 rated Offensive Lineman. But Yoshi wants to play him at Running Back.

Player's natural playing role is Offensive Lineman
He can also play adequately as Running Back
If really needed, he can also step in as Quarterback and Linebacker

By looking at the Coaches Comments, Yoshi realises that the transition will not take as long as it would of if he wanted to play Joe at any other position.

The way I see it is this. If the player is highly rated, it is unlikely that he will change soon. However, if he is rated low and his position is on the Coaches Comments, it will not take as long as you may think

Like Guru said, it's different for every player and depends on his positional rating for his current natural position.

I recently started changing player's around, and after about 4 or 5 games I've had 2 change already. Some will probably take over 10 games since they started at their old position all season before, some will probably change over in the last 2 weeks of the season.

Just depends on their rating at their current position and their rating at the position you're changing them to.

Ok, so 4-5 games for some and over 10 for others.. that gives me an idea when to start looking for changes. Do the players get added to the coach's comments for the positions they are working towards, as in "nothing" to "If Needed" to "Adequately" to "Natural Position"? Or do they just go from "nothing" to "Natural Position"?

It looks as though the new positions get added.

My old QB is moving to TE. I just looked at him, and TE is now listed as a position he can play adequately. I have a DL moving to QB, and QB I believe wasn't listed before. It is now, as an "if needed" position.

Of course, I don't remember exactly what positions were where before, so I'm not 100% on this. Confirmation from anyone else who knows for sure would be appreciated before I pass this off and absolute truth.

and if you use Dioneanus wonderous tool it tracks player positioning as well as all of the stats. so as long as you download once a week you can get a general idea how long it takes to shift someone.
