Interesting round of results!

I decided to line up my main receiver vs the Berger's top $103k per week CB, and he came through. Took a 28-0 lead, but then the Bergers fought back in a big way. Managed to hold on for the win though.

In the Buccaneer derby, an upset to the Tiger Bay variety! Otterman up to his usual tricks and throwing spanners into the works.

All but one reciever played remotely near his potential. 3 played under the BPOS and their stats showed it also. Which gave my opponent time to do their business well and get the win.

Had the same issue late last season that nearly sunk me. Hopefully it ain't repeating.

How is the view from the top? Good?

Ouch that's gotta hurt. There is always a big divide between teams depending on where there developement of the whole team and players is at. That opponent has the stadium size to support facilities and coaches. So their developement at the current stage is much quicker that your develpement. So the divide becomes greater. Ouch you get a 10-13K stadium, you'll close that divide up.Last edited on 2013-08-27 at 0:17

Similar to my quicker than expected promotion from v to iv. Came into iv with a capacity of just 6, 430. The average stadium has around 50, 000. Very hard to compete finacially. Im now top of iv and if I promote again I will have just 11, 630 uo against stadiums of around 70, 000. It must be mission impossible to compete in a top div with just 5, 500 seats. Im all for the underdog. Good luck.

Holy crap! Played shockingly against Kamikaze and my Bucs got owned bigtime.

Defence only stopped 1 or 10 of their 3rd downs. Didn't even make them punt once.

Offence made 8 yards in the first quarter. and only started scoring once 42 points down.

Completely 100% owned by Kamikaze in every aspect of the game.

Looks like it did repeat. And it has sunk me for this season.

I got 2 bot games in the next 2 weeks. While the teams above me in the standings have to play eachother once. SO I'll see what the standings look like in two weeks and see whether I can make a play at position one or not. Or blood the new kids.Last edited on 2013-09-08 at 9:11

Managed to sneak past the banana peel game against Tiger Bay. They were 14 points ahead at half time, and finished with a completion percentage of over 63%! D:

On the topic of underperforming receivers, one of my three 5* WRs put in a 3.5* match performance. Thankfully, he wasn't one Mr. Bianco. Can anyone stop the Bianco express?! Actually, let's not answer that...

Potential title decider next week against Kamikaze. I apparently have the 'away' advantage, but they're in ominous form scoring points for fun against bots and humans alike.

Wow a huge 49-7 point win against a near-full strength Melbourne Thunder side. Absolutely dominated them on both sides of the ball. Where has this been all year.
