The Swedish NT is really, badly played from what i can see.
I will pretty much do a full squad makeover and tactics.
Some players are good but during my short time as coach i already found some awesome swedish players NOT in the NT.

Therefore, everyone send a message to me about swedish players who you think can take part in the NT!
Squad and more will be posted here in this thread during the season!

Lots of changes going on in the whole National team. Been running on bad players for a few seasons and already found some players that without any doubt will take place as number 1 on their position. I think this will be a very intressting World cup for Sweden, even though my lack of tactical experience. The new squad hopefully surprise many that underestimate us.

Match 1 Ukrain vs Sweden
Game score - 21-28
Well played - Jonathan Bengtsson, Simon Lindberg and Nathan Fredriksson

I had no idéa how Sweden would play much due to my little experience of this game.
But as low ranked team i hoped to take advantage of this and surprise the Ukrainian team by playing with a almost whole new squad and new tactics from past years.

Started out well with a nice touchdown by Gabriel Nyberg but in the third quarter it became harder. Ukrain made two touchdowns in a row and suddenly it stood 21-14 to them. But with great fighting spirit and some fantastic passes by Jonathan to the wide recievers we could proudly walk out of the arena with a victory! 21-28 to Sweden.

Great work guys next match is against the Australian team, who are led by the top manager projectrracing! Looking forward to give them a challenge.

Hej Marcus

good job playing Ukrain, there have not been too many wins by the Swedish NT since I am in the game. Good that finally someone takes this serious. Next time you are allowed to draft players, please have a look at some established players in my team, e.g.:

5* WR Truls Ström
4.5* DL Torbjörn Andreasson
4.5* DL Morris Petersson
4.5* SF Amadeus Magnusson

I would also be interested to hear why you sometimes prioritize a high salary over a good player rating (e.g. some WRs)? Some players have salaries of 30-60k, but only 1.5-2.5 BPOS.

Match 2 Australia vs Sweden
Game score - 35-28

Second match in the qualification group started out very good, Australia had the first touchdown but somehow we managed to make 3 TD's in row and the score were 14-21 in second quarter. Unfortunately it was not enough against the strong Australian team, in the last minutes of the fourth quarter Lyle Carthledge scored the last 7 points which gave us the final score, 35-28.

Even though we lost im still very impressed by the offensiv team who managed to score 28 points from starting within our own 20 yard line almost every time.

Overall we did a good match against a much better team. Sweden is one of the bottom ranked teams but today we proved that we stand a chance against the top nations of Gridiron!

In the next match we face France, another top nation test our strenght against.
I think we have good chances in this match, could be only luck but they lost pretty badly against Ukrain. Since we won against Ukrain i can only hope that we win against France aswell. We'll see next week.....

Match 4 Sweden vs Russia
Game score - 27-52

Good match by the Swedish team today, I know the score says different but the plays was way more even then earlier matches against Australia and France. In match 2 & 3 all our touchdowns came from 40-60 yard passes(except a few) since we always ended up punting very early during our offensiv play. Today we've managed to struggle all the way and finally score with a short yard pass or atleast got close enough to kick it.

Dissapointed of the loss but we're getting closer to give those Super nations a real challenge. Next up is Ukrain, hard to say how it will end. We won the first match but since then, Ukrain have only played better and better so I expect a great match next Friday and leave the stadium with another victory.

Check out the new uniform that we got!
We couldnt continue playing with plain blue/yellow uniforms, the players in the NT are representing our country, of course we're gonna come in on the arenas and look professional

Match 6 Sweden vs Australia
Game score - 35-42
Well Played - Vilmer Johansson

Another very close loss against Australia 35-42. We played amazing in the first quarter but somehow in the last quarters we couldnt score a single touchdown, Still 35 points and a big lead in the first quarters is a very good result against this team. With a now very decent offense, next up is working on the defense. There are some really good players but unfortunately its not enough but we'll see if the future bring us the defense we need!
