I'm playing my third season for my uni team and I'm still a distinctly average DB. I figure it's more fun than going to the gym three times a week.

Im not a UK player, but i thought i would get in on this. I was a Center and longsnapper last year, but sadly i broke my ankle. It was a football injury and my team (Crestwood) was 5-0 and without a experienced Center or even a guy who can longsnap the ball, we lost the rest of the games. Man i didn't think i was that important.

Crestwood is a High school I believe

Thanks for all the replies guys, imyself, played in the glory days of the UK game, late 80s and early 90s. Played MLB for Wirral wolves, Merseyside centurians(uk Champions)and Manchester Spartans (European champions) Really miss playing, sad that the game didnt keep on growing. Crowds of 10,000 for UK games were normal!!

Mate, Manchester Spartans used to get 14-18K for most games. Wirral wolves used Tranmere rovers ground and got an average of 10,000 per game. At one time it really looked like the game would take off here, then it fell away, really dont know why
