It is astualy Zachary, but I just shortened it to Zach. I'm glad my Mom didn't get her choice. She wanted to name me Zachariah, but my dad wouldn't let her.

Shaftdiggity

The shaft part came from needing a team name for a pool tournament (we went with Shaft and Billy Yards [as in a pool cue and billiards]) which we won...

The diggity came as Shaft, being a very popular movie and name, I needed an ending and a friend from college had his AOL screen name with his last name and diggity.

Here's the long and convoluted history of why I chose this name. I played D & D for a long time and I used Shakespearean names for most of my characters, Mercutio was my favorite character from Romeo and Juliet because he was the only one in the whole of the play that acted with any sense. so I named my character Mercutio, through three years of playing him on and off he became my favorite D & D character that I have ever used. so I brought that online to use for my login name, but alas when I tried to sign up for hattrick Mercutio was taken, so in my feeble little brain I combined two things that I greatly loved, Mercutio and Ohio State to get MercutiOH. I've used it on every game I've played since.

Honestly, I just realized a couple weeks ago that you had I in your name. I always thought it was Merc-u-toh.

But brilliant idea adding the H at the end.
