First up... x y'all. Second to that x y'all again

Sounds like a Raiders fan. And I'd probobly bee the same if my team has an average of 3 wins a season for over half a decade.

Can't believe I just got censored

I just hope we don't loose out on the number one pick to the jags by doing something stupid like winning another game this season. Would really like to see Amari Cooper in Oakland.

Mod power knows no bounds.

I don't know if more losing is the antidote to what's befallen the Raiders. A smart GM should be able to pick up good players without losing year in and year out. The Patriots have had success with guys like Rob Gronkowski (the 42nd pick of the 2010 draft), as well as a certain quarterback who didn't go until the 6th round, making him the 199th selection overall. Back in the day, the Raiders found a similar gem in Bo Jackson (183rd overall). It's quite possible that a high pick would help less than having people running the team who know what to do with that kind of pick (the answer isn't "trade it away".

With that said, the current season is beyond salvage and just about past the faintest tinge of respectability, so going 1-15 and getting that #1 pick could be the best the Raiders can do at this point.

I think derrick Carr looks like a fine player. And yer defense is good so all ye need is 7 or 8 good players that's not that hard

I hear what your saying dude, though on the likes of Bo everyone knew how good he was, its just no one wanted to take him as he was a ball player before a football player and was only available for half a season which is why he dropped so far. Plus him not wanting to play for the bucs when they took him number one overall the year before probably had something to do with it too. As for Brady, well that's just him being a stubborn SOB and wanting to prove all the doubters wrong.

Even if good draft picks can be found in later rounds it is still better to have a higher draft pick. I don't see a good reason for the Raiders to win another game this season. It is one of the flaws of the draft system imo that results in fans chanting for their team to "suck for luck".
