Jordan's suspension is a tragedy since we were finalizing a trade with Philadelphia possibly involving OG Mathis and a pick.

That sucks. He screwed up big time.

BTW what were the other off field issues recently?

it was a damn diluted sample he didnt even fail the test that rule is stupid it fucked von and now dion

It's not a stupid rule, the moron diluted the sample because otherwise he would've failed the test.

honesltly i hope not if its diluted do another one with harsher security its not going to take a week to get a drug test back and it takes longer than a week for anything to get out o your system

It's real simple: you already screwed up once so you dont take nothing, dont dilute nothing and dont get a ban. Easy.

I dont know exactly how much does it take to have results of the drug test nor how much does it take to get stuff out of your system but if there is a rule in place you follow it. Why do you think he diluted the sample? For the hell of it?

Good thing is it looks like he just freed up 5 millions cap space

jennings is a smart add

Yeah I think the Dolphins came out way ahead overall. They got rid of a locker room cancer and huge cap hit in Wallace, while picking up a 5th rounder for a 7th from the Vikings.

Then they snatched former Vikings WR Jennings off the market for a mere 4 million a season. Jennings is a player who both:
1) isn't a locker room cancer
and
2) is almost as good as Wallace overall in the first place; yet they got him for almost a third of the price.

Moves like this are why the Vikings remain bottom feeders and are forced to grab so many of Green Bay's castoffs when they're released.

I has been the only smart offseason the Dolphins have had in quite a while. It seams they have managed to fix the many mistakes of multiple offseasons. If they can do this for a few offseasons in a row, they will be a force soon.

They also picked up Tannehill rookie contact 5th year option this week.

Great Draft for the Dolphins imho. In 3 years we will know better but these picks look fine to me. We just missed on Kendricks, chosen right before our 2nd round pick but from how things worked out it's likely that we nevere even targeted him.

DeVante Parker is just what the doctor ordered: a big number 1 receiver with catch radius and ability to get YAC.

Jordan Phillips is a load and teams will have a tough time managing him AND Suh in the running game. Really with that DL even I could play a couple of downs for the Dolphins without getting killed. Kendricks was gone and Perryman is wrapped with OVERRATED plastic film so I'm glad we didnt draft him just because he played at Miami (which by the way is not a very good football team so I don't see why they could produce so many fantastic players -Flowers, Dorsett, Perryman- the dolphins should draft). Phillips was the best talent available and in a position of need, period. Some of the critics made to this pick are complete nonsense but at least they made me laugh.

Jamil Douglas is a guy I don't know much about but seems like a legit zone running OG. At least will provide some depth. He can pass block some too, which isn't bad. There is some chance a guy like Marcel Dareus might throw him around like a ragdoll but that was happening to our starting guards last year too.

Bobby McCain is a guy I didn't know nothing about until we drafted him but I covered some ground and now I'm excited. He is a poorman's Honeybadger and that makes him a wonderful playmaker. He is tough, he can cover, reads the quarterback like the proverbial book and he has otherwordly agility. Good kick returner. Only issue is he is a midget.

Jay Ajayi has a funny name but is also terrific value in the fifth round. There was too much value not to pick him. He is a jack of all trades, really good pass catcher and runner, average to good blocker.
He will have to learn that the only yards that count are north-south. That might surprise him at first given how much he likes to run east-west but when he will learn to effectively plant his foot and turn on the jets he will be happy with the rewards.

Cedric Thompson played safety at Minnesota. I don't have a memory of him and don't know nothing so I wont write nothing.

Tony Lippett was always a pain in the ass for me as a Husker fan because he had the ability of making plays just when it looked like we've figured him out. Was always catching those ridiculous passes down the sideline on third down making Bo Pelini angry. I'm happy he wasn't drafted by the Jets. Just learned he played some CB too for the Spartans and was a two-way player in the bowl game. He is just too competitive. I bet he makes the roster and kicks Matthews out of town.

I didn't think they had a good draft overall. Middle range maybe. First pick was good and will improve the team. Phillips is good also, but not a position they needed. The rest are roster fillers. Some of the final picks might not make the final 53.

They Jets and the Pats had better drafts. Bills draft was terrible. No idea how the Pats managed a better draft since they were picking a lot lower. Although they did have some big roster holes to fill. the draft always look good when you have big holes to fill.

The needs at lb and cb are people being stupid. Suh gets the double teams while the rest of the dl feats Ono lines which nobody in the division has an elite o line. Their offense is fine, they made it work last season they also made a few signings that will shore up the guard position and it's not the first priority anyway.

As usual time will tell who had a good draft and who didn't.

After seeing some tape I like Parker as much as White or Cooper, he was probably down a bit due to having an injury last season but he looks like a great pickup.

Phillips, believe it or not, covers a position of need. Last season everybody ran over us and we lack a true 1 tech. I hope I'm not pulling a cflames here but I have a feeling he will start this september.

New England picked late in the first but had a boatload of picks (11). They selected some OL I like (Mason-Jackson) and Malcolm Brown is good but the 2nd rounder is a big reach and the 3rd rounder GRissom is a player without a position.

As far as the Jets go Leonard Williams is a stud but they already had studs at the position so he won't upgrade them all that much. My favourite pick is Lorenzo Mauldin while Devin Smith is likely the next Ted Ginn. Bryce Petty will not make a difference.
