As a side note, from my understanding you can actually play this game as a news editor or a manager aso aswell, not really sure how that works though

even going with teamspeak to keep the team in line, way more serious then necessary but still fun =)

I don't remember if there was an option to control them live, from memory probably not. I think you basically train them and negotiate a contract with a team then when you play a game the events were randomly generated based on all the player's training. It was a few years ago I played it so it could be different now.

I started GLB about a month ago. If you pay, it might be a good game.

Playing it for free isn't very interesting at all. Then again, spending your two training points every 24 hours really is seconds of fun!

Also, you don't get to control the players, you are an agent. Who trains them as well... I wouldn't recommend it.

But this "get a GI team going on this other game" idea sounds like a blast! I will check it out after work.

I'm playing my second game of this tonight. Actually enjoyed it a bit last time, just wish my team wasn't full of idiots!
