Interesting stat I noticed was my 1 rush went for 25 yard, with a defence heavily pass orientated does this leave the rush open to better yardage over 3 downs if you can get past the DL on just 1 play every 3 downs? 1 play doesn't mean anything but does throw up the question.

Yeah, that got my attention too! But I felt a lot better after the INT on the very next play.

Like Bloodbeak said, just a fluke. The fact that most Ds are set to play pass on every down means you get a few of those but you normally get a lot of negative plays.

Either my expenses have shot up dramatically, or the Warriors haven't finished off their VIP/exec seating.

Played in a 56k full house stadium and - factoring in economy update plus post-game sponsors - I'm down $18,000 on the day

Results-wise, it's not going to be pretty next week, but a full 89k stadium will be nice for the bank!

You won the last match 49-21. Victory by 4 touchdowns. You'll be facing the same offense (give or take a lineman or two) that is led by a 23yo quarterback who has struggled to get past the Convict defense in all 3 of his previous matchups. I am the underdog, and you have nothing to fear. The Pigs care mostly about the shared revenue, just like a real NFL team.

My only real shot at winning here is to rent up a storm over the next 6 days.

You might have nothing to fear.

I did just cut a NT LB and NT CB and there is a chance another NT LB will be gone this friday so you might be facing up to a 4-3 defence with a CB and OLB not yet up to speed. This D won't be back to it's best until about mid next season.

Other weird thing about today's game is that my rookie CB was targeted by the DW all day but never had one of the 5 INTs. INTs went to OLB (2), FS (2) and MLB (1). He also never got smoked except right at the end with relax rule in play.

When did the relax rule kick in during our game roughly because it makes it hard for me to judge how my team is doing against a full strength opponent.

As a lesser team I realise half the time I'm probably versing backups in some positions but knowing when I'm playing the team in general at full strength as opposed the relaxing is at least going to help a bit.

Relax kicks in at 35pts difference. I have had a suspicion it might kick in a little at 28 but the jury is still out. It is virtually impossible to beat a half decent team by more than 35-42 pts.

You can see it in the post match ratings too - all players will drop a full star at least.

It was interesting in our game since the relax was probably barely making up for you WR's poor stamina. Those 2 things sort of cancelled each other out so you scored 21 in both halves.

Your 1st quarter was legitimate and impressive!

Like I said earlier, I only got 2 pressures on you (and zero sacks) and they both happened before I was ahead by 35 so that also explains that.

And it's free!

Today's Aussie game is interesting. We won by 25 but out of 16 players with 5* starts, every one of them dropped at least a half star. So it looks like it gets phased in gradually at something like 21+, 28+, 35+, etc - maybe it's even point by point. It always becomes very obvious in games where you lead by 35 or more.

It can be erratic though - look at the trons/moths game on 17/04 - 119-0 with no sign of relax rule anywhere.
