The 7th October marks my 15 year anniversary since joining GI. I believe I am the second oldest manager in the game, after the mighty Guanacos in Argentina. And in a nod to the past, we face off just as we did in the days gone past.

I've butted heads with some of the greats of this game. The Grizzlys, Sparta Nijkerk, The Badgers and Guanacos to name a few. And for a time I was up there with the very best.

I've seen the absolute highs and the lows on this journey. And I'm not going away just yet, although I came close a couple of times to walking away.

I am curious, how many 2008 managers are still here.

I believe the legend that is Philiom makes it at least three of us.

2010. I think I got to Div 2 once.

I left last year but in a moment of weakness logged back in recently. I've a squad of 3.5 star no-marks and haven't the desire to slug it out on the transfer market so I'm depending on my youth picks.

I will have died of old age long before my team amounts to anything.
