Yeah, I understand you. I don't think Gurudefense does.

So let's make it clear what the question is:

In the training menus, BLOCKING is in the DEFENSE menu. Why is this? Shouldn't BLOCKING be in the ATTACK menu seeing as though it pertains to OFFENSE?

Indeed, sorry I did misunderstood you.

I'm not sure on that one, I guess its just a defensive thing to do, yet it is used by the offence

Yeah, with this game, I wouldn't be surprised if carrying was suddenly a kicking stat!

What about rushing plays? Doesn't tacking come in play when you try to rush?

I think this is logical:
- if we pass, offensive line is blocking and defenders are tackling
- if we rush, offensive line is tackling and defenders are blocking

it could be other way around tho. its a shame we don't see stats from other players, that way we could judge those situations from match report

In a way, you're right.

Of course, it's still better for the D-line to break the blocks and tackle the running back for a loss.
