A solid game by the Newtown Jets, who after a month of confusion with their new ground, new owners and new system appear to have found something in a combination of their sixteen year old quarterback Charles Simmonds with their converted defenseman Addam Stokes, with the pair combining for two touchdowns in the second quarter.

Juddy iron man Clinton Perry played both sides of the football, topping the team tackle count with eight and throwing nine passes for a single fifty-seven yard strike to David Shelley. Big plays were a Juddy specialty, with their other touchdown being a spectacular Sebastian Edmond 65 yard touchdown run, featuring him breaking tackles by Newtown defenders Drew Firrito, Roger Perry and Thomas Fiora.

In a tight final quarter, the game was won by Bluebags halfback Austin Wojcinski, who took advantage of a tired Juddy defense to reel off back-to-back runs of fourteen, four, six, two and twenty five yards, before diving over behind tight end Tyler Steller for a two yard go-ahead touchdown with 33 seconds on the clock.

In the end, Newtown's better ball control and higher-efficiency offense were good enough to overcome Juddy's big-play offense, and the result takes Newtown up to fourth position in the conference, with Juddy falling into the relegation zone at seventh.
