Low stamina

Or the player did not perform consistently on the day due to a low consistency level?

Is that in answer to my note about the player who ran for 200+yds?

Low consistency/stamina?!

If someone runs for 200yds, it's excellent. Even if they have to sit out some of the 4th quarter. If anything, that's even more impressive.

So, he played amazing, got loads of yards, scored a rack of points, but got tired? So he's now a worse player?
This is the sort of thing I do not understand.

Me neither. And, I'd like to know. Someone can give a concluding answer that sounds logical?

I'm working on the basis that on a player's bio, Rating = current level, while Talent = Potential ability.

That makes sense to me, as the Rating is always lower than the Talent level, so it's as though everyone is working towards their full potential.

But why someone who has a very good game would go backwards in Rating, I don't really understand. If it was tiredness, then surely only his fitness should be affected? And when it is, it should go back up after a couple days.

The stars in stats page are meant to be "start of the match" and "end of the match".

The end of the match stars are usually worse if the player doesn't have high Stamina. It in no way means that his rating got lowered

The "start stars" can be lower than the players actual rating if the players fitness is low. And they can sometimes be higher - depends how high (or low) players consistency is.

Thanks for the reply.

So the stars for 'Rating' have no relationship to how well the player played, only on how tired he is. Yet if his consistency and fitness is high, his 'Rating' can actually exceed his Talent level?

Rating influences how well players play. The start and end stars do not. They just show you in what overall condition the player started and ended.

In a game the player can exceed his rating not talent (although technically when players will be at their maximum that will also be a possibility)
