Welcome Back to Meet the TD.
Todays Teams: The Good Strudels and Hoffee Beans

The Good Strudels The TD's second entry into the AFLC is an aerial assualt waiting to happen. Led by their experienced QB Reginald DeWeese they took home some pretty hefty hardware in the regional cup championship, however in the league they did not have much success against the top tier, going 0-4 in the matchups. The Former Docs are good enough to come in third this year due to some holes on the defensive side. A good break in the schedule could see them with a better finish but I see them at:
15-3 3rd place

Hoffee Beans The Beans are a very good squad. They consistently threatened the top two teams well into the second half. However the game alwasy seems to just slip out of their hands. With the influx of new talent in the TD the Beans will be fighting to stay up. Even if they only lose every match by a touchdown.
My prediction 5-13 8th place

Mr Good Strudel....how can you question my play calling, team stamina and lack of hair and place me behind you at finishing in 4th place?

As I recall, my bald ass, low stamina...run game left you a big fat "L" in both of our meetings, last season.

I might just have to grow my hair out this season and give you the combover you deserve again!!

Seriously though..great write-ups and I'm looking forward to a really competitive division with only two bot teams for breathers.

actually I said Stamina was your strength... SOrry to the newer guys work got the best of me this week. I'll try to jam out some more reviews before game time.

And Sal you whupped me last season no doubt. You've got scoreboard. I'm just looking at how the schedule rolls out for the both of us. Momentum is going to play a huge factor this go round.

Wow what a league it's been so far. I'll stop being lazy and do a game report today sometime.

Team Digits 80-0 PackerBackers
Please send all donations to the Smurf memorial society in light of the killing the Digits put on the smurf formerly known as Packer backers

The Good Strudels 42-14 Louisville Bandits
Another first place tussle for the Strudels finds them relying on the established talent of Reginald DeWeese to take the reins again at QB. With the last chance to control the top 3 until the second half of the season the Strudels put out the speed merchants and let them run. DeWeese was his usual unbiased self giving each of the WR's 2 tds and the TE's one apeice despite heavy pressure from Sal's stellar Defensive Linemen.

Wadsworth Grizzlies 7-31 Tennessee Orange Wadsworth continues to struggle as the top division stalwart drops below the demotion line. As the lone human team left from the original American TD Wadsworth has had a large target on their back since the very beginning, time may have caught up to the mighty bears.

Boise State Broncos 87-0 RiverCity Bandits
Only you can prevent smurficide.

Hoffee Beans 0-35 Minnesota XTreme Twopint is recovering well after a loss to the Strudels brought them back to the pack. The team had a lot to prove as they faced down a highly competitive and surprising Beans side with a matchup with Boise State looming in the wings, but as usual the Xtreme defense doesn't disappoint with the Beans unable to put up even 100 yards. Next week will determine who is in the drivers seat with the midseason turn right around the corner.

Nice write up Merc.

Maybe my team will show up next time. I could not keep them focused because they were looking ahead of your team since we normally owned you in the past...........even the Lions and Buccaneers win sometimes.

Seriously, your team looked strong. Can't wait for our nrxt meeting.
