Unless, of course, you lose.

Well yeah if you lose to a smurf you probably don't deserve any money anyway(unless you didn't catch an injury or something).

But there are some human-human matchups in round 1. I'd hate to be the one to lose in those.

Ya, it would be bad to go out in the first round, but what's the difference between losing in the first round to a human, and losing in the second round to a human? Not much because in both cases if it's your first game you still get the same amount of money.

How many rounds do you have to go to get prize money? If it's just one, then that be a big difference. If you have to go 2, then yeah there is no difference.

one round for prize money. Dioneanu faces off against Akake Noki in the first round in .... Eastern Europe I think...GREAT match.

I thought it was one round, just wasn't sure. Not that 40,000 makes much of a difference for the 2 teams Merc mentioned.

Of course, for some teams just starting out, that could be huge.

sweet, automatic win for me. Sucked last year playing a human early on and losing a close game.
