I think you're lucky, rob, because Spartak Lier has quit the game...

Are you absolutely sure? His last log-in was yesterday

First round:

It's very dificult to predict anything for this first round

Spartak Lier vs. The Infamous Leopards
The first of many Belgium vs. Holland matches in this league.
Spartak Lier has a 1-1 record in their friendly matches, keeping the score low in both matches.
The Infamous Leopards won both their friendly matches including a huge 42-21 victory.

El Capi Clan vs. shetland ponys
Austria's shetland ponys will travel to The Netherlands and meet El Capi Clan.
El Capi Clan only played 1 friendly match and lost it against leaguemate PeugeotGTI-CLUB.
Shetland ponys didn't logged in since they recieved their team, so no matches were played.
I guess El Capi Clan should be able to win this one.

PeugeotGTI-CLUB vs. Hamrun Spartans
Again a match with a Dutch team
Like shetland ponys Hamrun Spartans didn't logged in since they recieved their team.
PeugeotGTI-CLUB should win their first official match easily, just like they won their only friendly match.

De Rode Leeuwen vs. Duisburg Dockers
They only match without a Dutch team is being played in Belgium.
De Rode Leeuwen have a 1-1 record in their friendly match after losing their friendly against Belgium league-mates Spartak Lier (7-13).
Duisburg Dockers checked out his team, but didn't play any matches and let his players rest. Might be a smart move since his line-up will be a complete surprise.
Although Dockers might surprise everybody I think De Leeuwen should be able to win this match.

Sparta Nijkerk vs. Theseus
Holland vs. Holland
Last monday Sparta Nijkerk got their ass kicked by Theseus in a friendly match: 7-28
Sparta Nijkerk lost their other friendly aswell, so they're starting with a negative record.
Theseus lost their first match by a small margin 6-0.
Sparta Nijkerk is the underdog in this match, no doubt about it.

Good luck to all!

great fun to read

With only 5 rounds to go 4 out of 5 user controlled teams are still fighting for the championship and 5 bot teams trailing far behind.
Spartak Nijkerk (#5) only has a theoratical chance of winning,

Current standings:
# Team Wins-Losses
1. The Infamous Leopards 12-1
------------------------------
2. Theseus 11-2
3. De Rode Leeuwen 10-3
4. PeugeotGTI-CLUB 10-3
5. Sparta Nijkerk 7-6
6. shetland ponys 4-9
7. Hamrun Spartans 4-9
------------------------------
8. Duisburg Dockers 3-10
9. Spartak Lier 2-11
10. El Capi Clan 2-11

Upcoming matches per team:
(Matches of Top4 teams against eachother are bold)

#1 The Infamous Leopards
Hamrun Spartans (HOME)
PeugeotGTI-CLUB (AWAY)
shetland ponys (HOME)
De Rode Leeuwen (HOME)
Theseus (AWAY)

#2 Theseus
Spartak Lier (HOME)
Duisburg Dockers (AWAY)
Hamrun Spartans (HOME)
shetland ponys (AWAY)
The Infamous Leopards (HOME)

#3 De Rode Leeuwen
Sparta Nijkerk (AWAY)
El Capi Clan (HOME)
PeugeotGTI-CLUB (AWAY)
The Infamous Leopards (AWAY)
Spartak Lier (HOME)

#4 PeugeotGTI-CLUB
El Capi Clan (AWAY)
The Infamous Leopards (HOME)
De Rode Leeuwen (HOME)
Spartak Lier (AWAY)
Duisburg Dockers (HOME)

TIL is the current number 1, but they have the toughest schedule. They have to play against all other posible champions. TIL can make 1 mistake in the next 4 matches, but have to win against Theseus or they might loose on goaldiffence.
The current number 2, Theseus can sit back and relax the upcoming 4 weeks, but have to be at their best in the last week against TIL. That match will probably decide the championship.

The match between De Rode Leeuwen and PeugeotGTI-CLUB will probably decide who will be #3, unless one the teams manage to beat TIL and the other looses.

It could go either way, it's a very close league and it has been a fun season so far. I'm very curious who will be the first ever winner of the Central Europe Top Division.

Good luck to all!

My mistake in the line-up vs a BoT costed me a lot for goal difference. But we'll see. As long as I have the largest stadium

Are you Mod-Palomar from Hattrick?

Are you in Hattrick as well then?

By the way, he is

A lot of the Dutch players first saw this game via Hattrick

Rob lost. So last week it's Rob vs Palo. Winner takes the title. Loser can end up at 3rd place.

This is an easy pick! Netherlands will have a team from the Netherlands crowned the champion!
