Can someone tell me how to set a different formation for offense other than the full house or the wishbone? I want to try something like the I or the Nebraska slot.

Well I would be pretty easy.

Thats just setting the FB and RB to "center". Then you can make various set-ups for your WRs and TEs depending on if, your running or passing a lot.

YOu can set up the nebraska slot but the plays that made it successful are not utilized in this game yet. there is plenty of offensive variation though. The only thing I have yet to see is a Trips formation. I don't think you can do it legally in this set up. *scampers off to try* Nope no trips possibilities or empty backfield setups or shotgun offenses.Give it time they will come I am sure. If I had 4 people who could catch the ball reliably I'd be tempted to try the spread to see how it worked. Hmm actually it is a friendly coming up PASSING ATTACK HO!

2 WR and a TE to the one side - Trips.

I just did it though, with awful results. (I was experimenting with players though)

Trips would be three WR to a side. a TE is optional.

I'll be playing my spread formation in my next friendly (hopefully against bolstersam if he accepts). It will interesting to see how it works out. I probably won't have very true results though since I'll be playing new acquisitions.

Ok then.
You all use different formation and how about score?
I'm new here too and just managed for 2 matches.
I won both with 7-49 and 21-0
I put WR both side each and 2 RB each side too.
What is advantage of your formation? Why?

I did a friendly running the spread with pretty much all my backups and mostly passing, and got beat 13-7 in OT. I played a league game with 2 backs and 3 recievers, balanced offense and won 35-0. The rest of my games I have run 2 HB's, a FB, and 2 WR, and have won 77-7, 76-0, 35-7, and 38-0.

So far, what I've seen is that being a mostly pass team won't work at this stage of the game, the recievers and QB's just aren't good enough. A balanced offense or a mostly running offense have worked well for me.

Yeah, It would appear the balanced system serves well. I'm trying out a 3WR 1TE 1Back set today. Granted they will all be players with 1 star in team chemistry so the results won't be very accurate. Hell, I'm playing my Kicker at Nose tackle (he has 7 Tackling). My other kicker is playing at WR but I doubt if anyone would blame me for the decision...

I'm trying a complete balanced set today(I formation, 2 wide, TE on the right side with a balance of run and pass) and I'm getting beat 21-7 in the 2nd. Of course, I'm playing all of my young players, so that probably has something to do with it.
