This post has no modesty, You've been warned.

In a matchup that will likely determine half of the North American Representatives to the AFLC, Boise State's big play defense finds itself matched up against the aggressive aerial attack of The Good Strudels.

Last Matchup found young Paul Lofton giving the game away on two interceptions to the ball hawking Bronco Squad, which opened the door for the return of the swaggering gunslinger, Reg DeWeese.

On the other side of the ball, The Bronco Bullets, bring Linebackers like you wouldn't believe. Jackson McGlone and Rodolfo Dalponte patrol the outsides like caged animals waiting for their prey, freeing up the aggressive styles of Corners Rudy Berkhout and Armani "The Suit" Davis, so named because in his words "If I covered you any better you'd have to pay me for alterations"

Much attention will go to whether the Offensive Line Play of the Strudels will keep the old man on his feet or whether he'll be putting those old knees to the test.

The only thing we are certain of is there is no love lost between the two owners Rivertommy has been quoted as saying "I want the Strudel in the cup too, so I can embarass them three times" while Mercutioh chimed in with "I let the kid win the first one, kinda like I let my son win one game of checkers."

Team Logos are on the line for this one. With Boise hinting a Maize and Blue turn for everyone's third favorite moderator. You can feel the clock ticking as the Countdown to The Showdown grinds on. All eyes are on this field. Book it.

Like Merc said, the key to the game is if the newly nicknamed "Boise Bullets" defense can hold the high powered "Strudel Strike" to 7 points again. The Strudels average 53 points a game on offense on the season while the Broncos haven't allowed double digit scoring on them in their last 17 meaningful games (cup, league, and friendly cup playoffs).

So Gecha popcorn ready

Merc and R.T.
Your game is the secondary game of the week. My game is "THE" game of the week against the Packer Backers and their low explosion offense (zero points scored).

Seriously, good game preview, Merc!! I need you both tho beat the crap out of one another so that I can slip by and win the division.

Perhaps a decent undercard: San Diego Blitzkrieg vs. Western Winners

I might be going with something like this:

Or maybe go with the whole "Captain America" theme merc has with his avatar and pic this:

or maybe something random like this, since i kinda like monkeys:

I'll have a tough decision come Saturday afternoon
