just wanted to say that i think it's really cool that the admins gave away a couple of free supporter accounts for new years.
didn't affect me personally, but i just wanted to show my appreciation. that was a really nice move
and happy new year to the admins as well

We always do that, it's a small gesture of appreciation. We are always impartial and let the Mr. and Ms. Random do the pull (among non-supporter of course ).

Sometimes in the future will the manager of Young Cows from Germany develop a script for voting and counting (which won't be abused) and we will have something like "Community MVP free 3 month supporter" with special avatar.
P.S.timpel will also take care of the bugs, rewards and criticism for this trophy.

Well - for sure its a great idea - but to be honest: why doing the draw only among non-supporter? Am i - a supporter - less worth? Sorry guys, i never thought of this, but with this knowing that "booooh"!!! Shame on you! *non-sarcastic emoticon is missing by the way*

Just shows how much Supporters matter ... really not selling the idea of renewing my Supporter account when it runs out.

Sorry to sound bitter, but limiting the draw to non-Supporters is just wrong. Why can't a Supporter win this and get their account extended by 3 months?

that really isn't the way it should be. didn't know supporters don't have a chance to win this lottery.
they should admin. from an econimical standpoint i understand you, but from a human one, i sure as hell don't.
This really is not fair.

It is just a question of how you call it IMO..

If you say "it is new year, here are some presents" you need to include ALL.

If you say "Hey, this is an advertisement action, we want to introduce supporter accounts" you do not need to include supporters...

I think you are absolutely right Peter, but this was a gift and not any type of advertisement action and the Admins should have included everybody

I just find it amazing that it never even crossed their mind to include supporters (as evidenced by the way he said "of course" ). From a marketing perspective it might make sense, but as someone that renewed a few days before that "gift," it was a slap in the face.

Just another example of a great idea poorly executed.
