That's the exact reason I'm more of a cat person. Give them food, water(or milk), and occassionally clean out their litter box and they're good.

I think it all depends on what kind of dog you get, there are so many different kinds and some are known for being well behaved and others are crazy. Don't get the crazy ones

Well he's a bichon frise..weighs in at about 11 pounds, but thinks he's a guard dog.

My mom's dog is a 6 month old miniature dachsund mix(not sure what's it mixed with). The thing weighs maybe 5 pounds and is about a foot and a half long. But she makes big dogs back down when they're play fighting and one night she woke us up barking because someone was outside the house.

Haha. This dog is just nuts. He'll go outside when it's 5 or 6 degrees, and if he can slide under the fence, he will. There's a female bichon down the street he wants to hang out with. He's probably run away..somewhere around 150 times..

Cats are definitely better. I've got three of em. Very east to take care of. And sometimes they even bring you presents. Like this year on Christmas my oldest cat brought me a particularly plump mouse.
