Division III.4 Season 8 Preview

Well Guys here we go again SEASON 8 in the great Division III.4

This is the start of something new for all of us a chance to either win the Division Championship, Regional Cup or avoid Relegation (the latter being the main goal at the very least). But providing we all play the game someone will go down and it will add to the excitement hopefully right to the end of the season.

This Season we have some mighty strong teams, and teams at different stages some building up as future Title contenders and several teams all with a shout of winning the Title this Year.

Avià Lizards - Winners of Div IV.10 last season, a small tidy team that could struggle but as with all human teams nothing is for certain and the Lizards are more than capable of an upset or two which will maybe keep relegation at bay. Star Player is Kicker Abarzua who will be putting plenty of points on the board for the Lizards.

Brighton B52s - Well this is my team, hoping to improve once again. First season in the division finished 5th, second season 3rd and last season 2nd. Could this be my year? Not so sure as we have so many good teams and can see myself missing out and maybe this will be my division forever which to be honest isn't a bad thing as it is a great Division. Which is proof in the amount of bot teams. I wish all teams a great season, sdaly there can only be one winner so for the rest of us I hope we all enjoy the season as thats the main point of the game. Now I better win or else lol.

Copenhagen Black Adders - Winners of Div IV.12 and a very strong team with lots opf good all round players who will be in the mix for sure, QB Yates is their Star Player who will pulling the strings and maybe propel them to the top. Definately a team to watch out for this season.

Goldern Knights - Took control of the team midway through the first season won Div IV.10 in the second season and have been in Div III.4 ever since. Could this be their year, they would love to progress for sure. Small squad who can trouble teams at times and with I. Christ their solid QB can certainly turn on the style when needed.

Hong Steelers - Came up the previous season after winning IV.12 finished 5th last season but more than proved that they are serious contenders and more than able to push for the title as they have a very strong well balanced team. Difficult to pick a Star Player with so many to choose from but OL Kyng is certainly up there with the best.

Leith Spartans - Winners of Div IV.11 and for me look to be amongst the Favourites to challenge for the title, QB North and LB Lynch will be looking to pull the strings, a very strong team who will be looking to win the Division at the first time of asking, will they, can they, possibly, certainly in with a shout.

Rijsel - Came up in season 6 a very strong team who at the first try just missed out on promotion due to being in the same division as the mighty NI Ravens who not only won the Division also won the Regional Cup. That is testament to the quailty of the division. Surely if for that Rijsel would have won the Division that year. Rijsel will certainly be in the mix this year, QB Carson combining with WR Vergez is a deadly combination backed up by TE Sevestre.

Torshavn Tigers - Had a great season last year finishing 3rd and will definately be looking to push for the title this time round with an all round solid team. RB May is the Star of this team. Promotion is calling the Tigers

New York Giants - a new bot team in this division so an easy win for all teams here

TheTopTeam - came up last season and then went bot after a long time with the coach who decided to call it a day, antoher easy win for us all

Good Luck All and may the best man win.

(due to time I'm not going to be able to do weekly match day updates, be great if someone else wanted to do it or just friendly banter would be amazing)

Leith may be competitive this year, but the wage bill is really high and it may be that we will have to sell most of our high earners, depends on how many folk turn up to watch our home games!

You should find you'd pretty much sell out especially if your near the top

Attendance was low for first game of the season,I would have expected a full stadium for the first game tbh.

Yes I had a lower attendance than I was hoping for too. So I'm in real trouble financially! Having played 40 matches last season (including cup and friendlies) I won 39 of them and would have expected my form to be taken into account when calculating the attendance! I may be a bot sooner than I thought.

Hope you manage to survive mate be horrible to go bot so soon. It has happened before and my first season or maybe second I had to sacrifice my team by selling key players cost me big time that season, but I managed to survive you may not be as desperate as I was. End of last season I was maxing out, first game this season only halfish of my encouraging, optimistic, hopefull fans turn up. That's not quite right really, have you thought about sacking your coaches or maybe part of the stadium or a big earner? Just a thought

Hope you survive mate
