A topic of the allmighty Finnish National team. The place the find the latest news and other reports concerning the underdog who will suprise everyone on the upcoming world cup and go far.

Finland vs. Hungary: 38 - 7

The hungarians started the match with a strong performance. After a good first drive they ended the second drive to a TD. This looked bad for the finns who got no yards in their first drive. The second attempt at offense went better when Finnish QB Sakari Pasanen (Jazavci, SER) found Jakke Hietanen (Predators, FIN) and ended the pass play with a 70 yard TD. The three drives went good as well as the Finns racked up 3 more TD's and getting toal of 4 consecutive TD's. The score was 28 - 7 after the first half and the finns cruised to victory with one more TD and a 32 yard FG.

The start was good and brought the Finns one step closer to the World Cup.

Thanks guys.

We've had 3 exciting matches so far which all have been quite close. Hungary gave us quite the challenge and I think we could well see an even match as the second qualifier is decided in the last two matches.
