but I understand a random draw in the NC in the WC to have a random draw would be extremely discouraging to say the least. why should I have to play say The Netherlands, Germany, or UK in the first round if my team is 1 in our pool and the Italy gets Czech republic. you see what I mean?

we dont even know what the format for the cup proper will be yet do we? so it doesnt matter yet and at this rate the UK could be a 2nd place qualifier so even with seeding could then get drawn against another big team but i reckon it will be random like everything else in this game

why should a team that gets a couple of easy teams in the qualifying and wins 6 games, get an easier draw in the WC than a team that has a 3 team group with lets say Germany and Italy and goes through on PD?

We can't control the initial draw, just how we perform in the games given.
The regular world cup seeds by position in group for the knockout round. I would assume it would be similar here. A-1 faces E-2 A2 faces E1 so on and so forth. anything else would create a disincentive to winning any more than the minimum required

do you know that the 16 qualifiers wont be put into 4 groups of 4 with div winners meeting in the semis? or even the top 8 going into QFs after groups? unless they have said so elsewhere i wouldnt assume its going to be a straight knockout cup...

weve been told that the top 2 from each qualifying group get to the WC proper so 16 teams will get there as i said surely?
