The rankings are over and done with because we're at the stage where we are. So now it's PREDICTION TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Group one: Finland, Mexico, Germany, UK
Let me be the first to say Finland had this coming. They got an easy group to qualify in, but there run ends now unfortunately with a very tough group.

1.Mexico 3-0 - There pass D is the best in the game, and they've got a decent offense to boot. They'll be able to squeak out games with only 28 or 31 points because of their Pass D.

2.UK 2-1 - We saw them bounce back from a tough loss to France in a very big way, winning the rest of their games. They'll advance, but suffer their first loss to Mexico due to a lackluster D and a stifled offense.

3.Germany 1-2 - Got put in a tough group unfortunately. They have the potential to get through this group, bbut I think stoo's squad has more firepower and Mexico can shut down their attack while putting up 30 or more.

4.Finland 0-3 - Well that's unfortunate.

Group two: Canada, Romania, Netherlands, Austria
Well, two very good teams and two not very good teams. The question isn't so much who will advance, as it is in what order. Unfortunately, the top two teams and bottom two teams play in week 1, so we won't be holding our collective breath.

1.Austria 3-0 - They upset Netherlands. They win the other two games. Yayyyyyy

2.Netherlands 2-1 - As previously stated, they can beat Austria and are favored to do so. I'm going out on a limb. Shoot me.

3.Canada 1-2 - I thought they were good until they lost to the Swiss 56-13. Now I realize they're no match for Austria and Holland.

4.Romania 0-3 - They have a shot at beating Canada. Otherwise,

Group three: USA, Russia, Denmark, Italy
Well this is the group of hell. But not your standard Brazil, Portugal, Cote D'Ivoire, North Korea group of hell. This is Netherlands, Spain, Germany, and Uruguay hell. Ultra hell. Four top 10 teams in one group. Ouuch.

1 Russa 2-1 - They had a stranglehold on #1 in my other rankings for a few weeks. They've got an extraordinary team, with a superb attack and a decent D. They're gonna give up a ton considering their opponents, but can go tit for tat with any of these teams.

2.USA 2-1 - Merc knows we're gonna shoot him if we don't advance. So we'll advance. We've got tons of talent and can take on Russia. It's a very tough group, but the US has an explosive offense and a good secondary that allowed them to outlast Mexico.

3.Denmark 2-1 - Ever since setting a bot formation, the Denmark-ians or -ers or whatev they are have won 5 straight in a tough group. They can beat either of the two teams above and I think they'll beat one. But PD is a lich.

4.Italy 0-3 - They beat Germany and New Zealand, but the above teams reversed that in round 2. They can beat top teams, but there is just too much firepower for them to deal with. Italy falls flat in the one true group of hell.

Group four: France, Serbia, Poland, Switzerland
This is what we call the worst group in the WC round. These are 4 second place teams.

1.France 3-0 - They got a win over the UK and then swept Norway and Australia. They can beat top teams, and in this group they really don't need to.

2.Poland 2-1 - They were in a very tough group so I'll hold off on judging them, but they failed to beat Netherlands in two attempts. But they did beat Brazil twice and Sweden once. That's good enough for second in this group.

3.Serbia 1-2 - Had they kept it close Vs Russia I'd have given them a shot. But they didn't. And Poland and France are good. So buh bye Serbia.

4.Switzerland 0-3 - They split with Spain and were a miracle away from getting swept by Spain. They also split with Canada. They're not very good. At all. And this will prove it.

NOTE: The games shall be played on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this coming week. 15:00 server time, so 3 PM where peter and serrie live.
