Being in TD doesn't warrant a -400 penalty to the other teams anymore. Quite a few teams in lower division that could beat some of the teams in the TD.

hmmm...think i disagree with this on the whole
may have been true two or so season's ago, but TD i think is now considerably more representitive of the top teams in the region

i think teams in lower leagues that can beat TDs are an exception rather than the rule.
yes there are strong teams in the lower divisions, but the TD on the whole are what makes up the later stages of the cup every season, that's no fluke.

whilst i can see that the current ranking there is looking decidely unbalanced at the moment due to only one match and no cup games being played, if you look down the list i think it seems a resonably fair order given past history.

i don't think smashing a team in div.iii warrants being ranked above a TD team narrowly losing to another TD team after only one game.
think further down the line. repeat the performance all season long then the div.iii team winning every game will be ranked ahead of the TD team that is losing all it's matches.
however it is wrong to think that your average team in div.iii is playing the same game as the team not doing so well in TD

also consider that the divisional drop from TD to div.iii is less than winning two rounds against human opposition in the cup.

with heavily human populated divisions all the way up now these point drops will be much less prevalent come end of season once cup runs and more developed league standings are calculated

i do believe in the slightly bigger drop in divisional penalty, however, with that being said, yup, i entered the formula wrong in excel
will update now...

Could we alter the handicaps please so that the top division gets +400 div 2 +200 and div3 0pts rather than the current 0 -200 -400

negative numbers should only occur through losing

Its purely cosmetic I know but I want to see my score from scratch not a huge minus that I can't figure out

Also if I just picked up 448 points for 1 win then I'd suggest the higher divisions get a bigger headstart (+1000, +500???)

are you trying to make a monkey outta me???

bear in mind this is only after one game, you'll quickly go into the positives as you win more games and cup matches.

no probs with doing it as a plus headstart for higher divisions, the only real problem with this is you have to then cut if off for only div.iii and above. a negative headstart opens it for all divisions

I protest. I think my team has done well enough to merit a spot in international rankings too

If you had been in division 4 I'm guessing that it would have been 4 and up
