I think once they add a little more balance to the engine, Grid Iron could stay that way for a few seasons and still be a blast.

Right now, the pass against pass at the higher levels is just boring...it leaves no room for innovation or style.

I see a bit of irony in here, because even if they did make some adjustments (which I'm fully in favor of) and the rushing game became more balanced, it would still be a computer run game and given the necessary randomness necessary to simulate variances in the real world, there will always be some dice rolling involved. Short of that, we can all go out into our own neighborhoods, recruit real kids, train em, build facilities, hire coaches, develop playbooks, etc and I bet everyone here will be tickled at how realistic it will be

I agree, Randomness is needed for INGAME DECISIONS!

We are not arguing about this. The DRS is much more targeted to the randomness of who will win the division if all 10 teams go for all pass (which is needed at the moment) and if on higher divisions the home advantage predecides the games. if you are 9-9 at the end of the season the pure luck decides who wins the division, how many luck you had to force pass touchdowns. Why luck and not skills? Because we do not really know why a pass failes (was received) at the moment. This is why some of us thought it would be a funny thing, and a small sign to the admins. We like the game, but we would like to see some bigger bugs sorted out within short time. We dont want to offend or attack the admins, nor we want to discuss the same thing again and again. The easiest solution was to rename a bunch of teams to the same name.

Not going to lie, getting real tired of being outbid by these dice rolling goons.

The name implies that you've lost interest in the game because of its randomness...and yet, I continue to find your "movement" showing up on the transfer market.

Fascinating...

where does it suggest that they've lost interest in the game?

All it's doing is saying/asking that they want a change with the engine. And it seems to have somewhat worked considering are improved engine will be out in a week or 2 in friendlies and our new engine will be out next season in friedlies. This name change is probably not the reason wehy the admins have stepped up there game, but you never no

I've had the line about the developers in my sig since season 4 or 5 as a sign of disgust at the lack of development on the game. Guess I should have quit by now...

...for sure not the reason...

...but hopefully its a reminder...

...and at least we dont go around and ask anybody to join, to stop supporting or even to quit...

...it startet out from nowhere - its fun - it show that a bunch of people around here still do care and "they" are expressing it by removing their "im the best team out from nowhere"-Nametag and going unique trough the season.

...its a "crying out" -> give us a reason so we dont need to consider retiring

First of all, your pickle picture is AWESOME.

Secondly, it's just my impression based on the general discussion that led to the name changes and the actual name itself. Just my impression.

Though, I'm not actually upset at being outbid by them. I would hate for people to leave the game based on disinterest because I think this is the best football sim around, despite it's flaws. (Which are many)
