So like I do at the end of every season, I took a wander down memory lane and looked at every season my team has been in, the standing etc. The main reason I do this is because of the great rivals I built up during my eight seasons here on the Grid Iron, but when looking through the previous seasons this year I noticed something shocking.

Most of the great teams of old who I played against are long gone and now owned by someone else. Some are only just gone too, without sounding like an old timer belating the influx of new team owners, without sounding like Brett Favre, has it been that long? How have so many previous rivals and their teams vanished into the vapours without me even noticing.

I could just be rambling nonsense here but has anyone lost any great rivals due to the passage of time?

Gypsies & Bulldogs

Bulldogs were the original Top Team Won the TD & Iron Bowl for 1st couple of years & were untouchable back then(except for a shock Cup loss to a then div iv.21 side called errrrrrrm something like Team Hero,no wait a mo it was Team Zero that's right,lol) but then along came the new breed of team owners who,unlike me, actually know how to play this game

yeah bulldogs were a good team
not sure they ever won the iron bowl, but they certainly ruled the TD for the 1st few years

Played both of them and the Bulldogs and all are gone now. But, in an attempt to turn this into a positive post, we'll just have to develop new rivals through friendlies, league and regional games to keep the spirit of competition in Grid Iron alive.
