I count as a newbie (sort of)! Though not associated with this group.

This is my first full proper season with this team. VIP full on two sections, with a few Execs on another section + default seats. Stadium isn't really as built out as it should be, but that should change during the offseason (or when I next get two away games in a row) with the large reserve I have in the bank. I have slowed down my growth somewhat by having coaches (mostly for fitness) and a fitness centre, but maintenance and wages are under control and I tend to make a hundred to two hundred plus thousand a week.

Absolutely covered in young 4+ talent, but at the moment figuring out which ones have or will cap early on physicals. As a result, only about half the team have their positions locked in (especially positions like QB where physicals are not as important) and those are ones that have been bought off very established teams (such as the Minnesota Extreme which held a firesale before going dormant)and already come with high physicals and talent. One or two stopgaps in there (such as the 28yo 5 star TE) that cost me peanuts, has a low salary and is mainly there for big games or for injury cover.

Unfortunately for the purposes of NT, most are foreign but there are a few 4.5 and 4 star Aussie youngsters in there. However, they're a long way from becoming any sort of player as I tend to either pull amazing physicals with high intelligence, teamwork and consistency and 3-3.5 stars (I still keep them) or 4 and 4.5 star talents who have nothing else special. Thankfully, their fitness is coming along quicker than expected due to coaches and fitness centre on top of that (percentage increases only work with high input!).

I intend on being much less active in the transfer market (and have been) and concentrate on restocking players through youth pulls over the seasons. I just figured I needed to build a nice established platform of young talent (from all over the place) first to get the team going and then concentrate on local talent for NT purposes.

It's slowly coming together. Earlier in the year I had something like 6 different QBs on the roster playing in various positions, but their BPOS ratings are starting to settle. I have learnt lessons from my team from many seasons ago (where I did actually reach the TD here for a season or two before going dormant with the Melbourne Marauders) back before NT existed.

tl;dr
Stadium isn't quite where it needs to be. Will be amended the next chance I get. Good base of young local and foreign talent, but minor headaches sorting who goes where while waiting on caps. Intend to concentrate on local talent to replenish in the far future. Learnt lessons from the past, but still playing catch up.

Hey all, ill add my little story to the list if you dont mind.

This is my 3rd season of GI, didnt know really what I was doing in the first 2 seasons, I had read the spilling the beans PDF (which is fantastic) and followed it in terms of the building/ financial side of things. After 2 seasons I was filled up on VIP and exec seating, as well as some regular seats now too. So I had a good income coming in.

For my 3rd season I have started changing up my team a bit, had a dabble on the transfer market, had some small wins and some stuff ups, but hey, thats how you learn hey ? hehe.

I am saving up some cash now for some extra seating plus to finish off all my coaching, and then looking to find the remaining good players for my roster.

I have also asked a few expirienced players for some hints and tips regarding formations and game planning etc etc. Thank you to those players if you remember who you are

Happy to have another season in second division. Its going to be a tough one against Daudy, but should be great fun whatever outcome.

Goodluck to everyone in the last few weeks of Season 10.

12 months on from the last post. And many things have changed. How have your thoughts and goals changed.

In the TD and well respected teams. Good to see you all alive and kicking.

I just joined this game. I have played before a long time ago can't really remember anything. I have Played heaps of other gridiron games that I wont mention in case the site doesn't want me to. I have been a huge fan of gridiron for a very long time and know a lot about it. I think I could really help with national squad or what ever if some one could mentor me and teach me how to play.

Hello and welcome.

Make sure you sign your sponser. It is in the economics section.

Use 80% of your starting money on VIPS seats.

Try to remove all players 24 and older from your roster. Use you weekly youth pull to do this.

Pick a youth pull before friday.
