Going to get a group of CBs and train footwork, speed and agility. Footwork mainly and first.

Yeah, but i think there's no a lot of people who want to do experiments. Of course if we find some guys we can check it.

well, I can't go wrong with speed and agility. The footwork may not be as useful as I would hope, or it might.

So I declare this thread my CB-Footwork thread. I can't lose much.

Don't think footwork matters for defensive lineman. My player Lucas had 17 tackles today playing defensive tackle.

If anyone has players with 1 or 2 footwork at CB or safety and want to give results, PM or post here. same for people with high footwork.

Would make results come faster and mroe accurate.

How much did your opponent run the ball and what is the guy's positioning?

Only reason I ask, is that if he has high positioning and he ran the ball a lot, then it might that footwork is slightly important, but that positioning is the most important.

or it could be the product of a much more obvious explanation. Your opponent ran directly at him. it wasn't him making plays it was a matter of right place right time. One game doesn't credit or discredit a theory. If he consistently is your leading tackler game after game. then I might be inclined to think that footwork was not important for DLs
