Big time mate!!!

Have a + 200 point advantage along with the 1 game lead going into the final game over Pyrague.

As long as I dont bot it, I'll be looking at promotion.

Also Dubdiego has his Dublin Dragon's all but promoted going into the final game, while Downer's Bristol Cavaliers will have a very tense afternoon ahead, as he only has a +5 point advantage over the team in 2nd, with both teams playing bots in the final weekend.

Nightmare part 2, changed my formation at the last minute yesterday and it was the only one that I forgot to replace my injured o-lineman in and sent out a bot team to go for second place, absolutely gutted.

I wouldn't worry too much Fd, he'll know less about your offence for next seasons games, where it will really count. Could be those 2 games that decide promotion.
The one good thing about making a mistake in GI, you learn very quickly never to make it again.

Some good matches to look out for next week, the 2 above and Gorshell's survival bid, going right down to the wire.

I'll hold off on the congratz 'til next week Emerald, but it does look a done deal

Fair play to gorshell and his Captain Morgans who managed to pull of the great escape.

Congrats to dubdiego and his Dragons for wrapping up promotion.

Tough day for both Anothony Martin and Downer. Having had +5 score differential going into the last game and managing to role over a bot team, it was agonisingly not enough, as the team in second, Farndale Falcons, bettered downers result by ten, meaning the Cavs miss out on promotion by 5 points.

The Waterford Midshipmen also had a disappointing end to the season, as going into the final week, the top team in the division went bot, meaning if Waterford won and the team on top lost, Anthony's boys would have won the division. Unfortunately, although Waterford done their job, the top team won 7-0 over another bot side.

Still a very successful season for Irish clubs, with Celbridge, Western Cowboys, Carrickfergus, Glenfica, Crusaders and both Dublin Dragon's all gaining promotion. Seven is an impressive haul considering how many are playing the game.

So congrats to all promoted and commiseration to those that narrowly missed out. Also certain results such as Celt finishing second in division 2 and Captain Morgans surviving are also excellent achievements.

Yep - excellent write up, Emerald!

Gorshell's escape was amazing alright - right down to the last play and then to survive by five points.

It's a pity Celt didn't make it to the Top this season - but I am looking forward to a couple of Irish derby games in Division II!
