Also, I haven't pulled anything new over 1.5* in a couple of months.....

I have been the quite opposite, I think I have kept all but 3 of my youth pulls this season (excluding current ongoing transfers). I have been spoiled for choice with youths this season. Yet last season I only kept 2 of my youth pulls all season.

This season and last I have brought some very cheap Aussie youth that various Aussie managers had sold. And they have gone very cheap considering what good talents they were. Most I have kept, some have moved on.

I currently have in my youth (16-18yo) roster 14 good prospects(excluding the ongoing transfers):-

4x 16yo 3x 3.5* talent
5x 17yo 6x 4.0* talent
5x 18yo 5x 4.5* talent

So plenty of future stars for your Australian team. But considering what players in the world stage need to be at skill wise. Aiming at 17+. Most will only get to 15/16 main skills, $35/45K wages on my roster.

So as BFS said, managers will need to keep their Australian players and share the roster financially. A big number of players come from the Skinks and the Bucs. And a few various odds and ends spread accross other Aussie and international teams.

I cannot speak for the Skinks, but I know I cannot afford too many players with main skills 17+ on my roster. Which is about $55K+ wages. Hence why what BFS said stands so true. I have a few that fit that bill, but it will be the only few that I will have/afford.

And yes Kyle has his issues, but being spoiled for choice in every position with youth, meant he didn't have a solid place in the roster. So just seemed like the right time to free up some wages.Last edited on 2012-08-26 at 0:04

Ivan Wall and Aaron Riggio are both pretty damn nice D Liners.

Yeah Ivan Wall was the only DLinemen I was 100% happy with. Aaron Riggio will surely get another look in at the next cycle.

I was going to 15 for skills on most of my players (except QB), now it's 16 for some since they already have 15 at most of the main skills. But since I don't have supporter and I'm somewhat careless I tend to waste a lot of time on pointless physical training (or not enough of it) meaning some of my players are less great than they could be.

i honestly think the greater talent, the better. So its a great managers job to scout the best talent, nomadda what the con or intel.
Play em in friendlies and etc...but you have to be up early to be with the programm, and that be a deciding factor if you are going to enjoys sundays next August!....look at the market and you may actually make some real money..i mean dollars..lol.
