It's the start of the new world cup cycle. Time for fame and glory. The first step to achieve that is to sign up as your national team coach. You can do that by going to your national team and click "Apply" (next to the "Coach:" text).

You have until Monday, 18th of June to do so.

I applied for laughs. I keep track of quite a few players and will gladly pass on any fresh information I have on Aussie ones.

I see no problem with you application. You know the team's roster, and you know other players on the fringe of entering the roster.

So the players are actually selected by the coach? And then after that a player has the "NT" tag?

How do you scout? Simply browse over all the better teams and scout the highly paid players?

Pretty much. You come across players in friendlies, other managers from across the globe share their players stats with you etc.

Abot 2 weeks ago I got a PM from a manager saying his player might be suitable. Even out of a cycle, some managers still are helpful.

Most are willing to help, as the system works both ways. Most managers will put up a thread advertising themselves looking for players.

If you have a read through the other five World Cup threads, you'll get the idea.

The other thing is, once players are selected you can see all their builds as head honcho. Imagine how much of a pain it'd be trying to keep track of all of them with your 5 scout reports a week otherwise!

Hmm tempted, but doubtful I can put in the required hours to do justice to the task. Maybe next time. For now the team under projectracing is going well, and we kinda got screwed with the schedule/opponents last time out, so would be good to see some momentum... just my 0.02.

I think i would like to see how id do for this position. however, i dont thin projecrracing would agree. i say give other people a try. please be positive about it if your going to reply, i,m getting a bit pissed with negative comments here. So, basically i am going to have a punt for it.

I have been rather successful in the past with mediocre players, playing against the top teams with NATIONAL TEAM players. Get that!
So give ME some NATIONAL TEAM players and i know ill be unbeatable.
Its not the real australian footbal coach. its a managment sim GAME on the computer, and i want my rightful turn at it..
But , well i guess, if there are guys who feel otherwise, nothing i can do...good luck..BFS.
