Not a bad qualification group to have. Do us proud Tinkler.

Did the roster have any movement? Surprized to see a 31yo OL 16 skill player in there when there are so many other younger higher skill options available.

Nah, I don't think it did...

Roughead has been solid over the years, but yeah this was supposed to be his end. Very high intel, consistency and strength and was actually at least 17 blocking/stamina, but yeah I think everything else was 16 skill.

Not the only odd NT moves though. The USA NT is going very safety light, so my NT safety got dropped - only for them to pick up my LB for NT duty!

MY dual role German SF/MLB didn't get a look in either. Either though both positions have 31yos in the German team. Skills seem on par with current roster players.

Germany has 3 $100K CBs, so I can see why my CB didn't make it, but when a 5* 18 skill player doesn't make it, you know the team is good. Pretty easy to know what direction to throw the ball knowing that bit of information. For any of those teams playing Germany.

Well done Tinkler!

Got a bit lucky at the wild end of that first half - 2 INTs and nothing for them.

What's the go with 3 INTs - just bad luck?

Some really interesting personnel choices. Boyle gets a go at QB, Lambert gets a go at WR instead of KR, Gale gets another gig at TE, CB choices revert back to the old guard, E. Walsh playing his first NT game, Sellar taking punting AND kicking duties, and so on. Definitely not the old default tactics nor anything I did, so at least we know Tinkler's tinkering. Doesn't matter, it worked against semi-decent opponents so obviously he's onto something. Keep it up!

Why aren't the best players on the roster getting a run?

Just remember Tinkler (if he's even reading this part of the forum), that there are a LOT of dual BPOS players on that team. Probably our best CB is hidden as an RB. I know Pendlebury is now your player, but there's absolutely no way he's in our best 2 Field CBs (but his blocking makes him top 2 STCB) and honestly could be the least impressive one on the whole team (dual BPOS players included). Betts is similar in that there's no way he's top 2 Safety, even though I know he's your brother's former player. Mourish should play at LB somewhere and Mason Lucas is a better field kicker in pretty much every way than Sellar (who admittedly may claim punting honours).

Other than that, the other changes I can see a case made for them (even Boyle at QB, though some more iffy than others).

Our stat match rating during that game was one of the best I've seen, far superior to the Belgians. Unfortunately, the addition of a running game didn't quite work out in a shootout, particularly as our runner lined up as FB/L?!
