Sadly it's not against the rules to lie in ads. It's been discussed quite a few times on the forums and I think the general consesus is that those that do it are soon found out. They might make a big profit on one sale but will probably find it difficult to sell any player in the future. I know a lot of managers keep a blacklist of managers who do this.

Weirdly enough, it isn't against the rules to lie in an ad but if you complain about and name the lying manager in the forums to warn other managers then that is against rules

I find it puzzling that he's basically been named already, so what's the problem? Has an admin fined anybody? Has this thread been closed? It's just another grey area that some mild hollering has been allowed, at least by the moderators

Hard to police lying in adds since by the time the purchaser gets the player, the original add is forever gone.

You could probably leave the adds up for a week or more but that's probably exactly why they disappear after 48hrs - too much friggin' about otherwise!
