Match 3 Poland vs Sweden
Result: 41-28
Well played: -

Late review from the Poland game. We lost barely i would say. In the very last minutes of the game we had the result 34-28. If we could just have gotten one Touchdown in that last quarter insted of letting Poland throw a "lucky" 66 yard pass. I did mention those long yard pass touchdowns in the New Zealand game. I believe its just bad defense and a little bit luck.

Better pass completion by Vilmer over their QB Pawel but he Pawel managed to get through many of those long passes. Very unlucky for us as we were about to almost secure a spot through the qualification. STILL! its far from over We have plenty of more games coming and the World Cup is not far away.

COLOMBIA MATCH
Next up is Colombia, game starts in 40 minutes and the team is already on the field warming up. "Defense General" Frans Magnusson is having a encouraging talk with our top Safeties Rami and Marcus at the moment. They need to start prove themselfes worthy of the National team jersey.

Today I can announce for all of you who will follow the game that Joar Söderström is taking place on the field as central Safety. He has been proving on the training earlier this week that hes not content with sitting on the bench anymore. Mathias Karlsson is therefore out of todays game and insted comes Joar Söderström to play his first NT match as Safety.

Match 4 Sweden vs Colombia
Result: 38 - 13
Well played: Ludwig Lundgren 3 tackles & 3 sacks

As the final signal end our 4th match this qualification we can hear the Swedish crowd shouting and cheering for the Swedish team.

Another very important victory for us to reach world cup for the first time ever. Last week's match against Poland was though for every player in the team since they all felt that we were actually the better team that game. One single mistake from the safeties in the last minute wrecked it all. But eager to make up for that game, the defense played with great perfection out there. Only letting the Colombian team get past 45 yard line 3 times and only 1 of those attempts ended up in a touchdown.
Ludwig Lundgren was a huge part in the successes we had in the defense today with his 3 tackles and 3 sacks. Very solid play by him. Alex Jacobsson his DE mate struggled abit but still didn't make any significant mistake.

Unlike our defense, the offense were horrible. Vilmer having a hard time getting passes through to Gabriel Nyberg today which gives him a 48% completion today. Atleast Simon Lindberg and our OL's held there heads high and carried the offense to 38 points. Gabriel Nyberg must start to step it up abit or he will be in the dangerzone of getting replaced.

Last from this match review is to welcome back our 1st kicker from his injury.
Arvin Dahlberg steps back on the kicker position, recently recovered from his injured foot. 1 Field goal and several extra points from him today, overall a very much expected performance from him today.

Next week will be an offweek for us. No game due to the 5 team group schedule, so we'll take that week to study our opponents even more so that we can take them all down in the re-matches.

4 matches to go. If we win 3 of them i think we'll get through!
I think we have a clear chance. Every loss we've had has been amazingly close to a victory.
It is going to be very even between all the teams in this group but i hope we manage to reach top 2

Oscar Jansson announced in local media that he will retire from proffessional fotball. After a long and successfull careér in his team and the national team he decided to put his shoes aside.

The Swedish fotball federation didn't want to lose his talents completely and offered him a job as WR trainer for the national team tryouts. Oscar immediently accepted the offer with gratitude and a promise of being a huge benefit for the team.

We thank Oscar Jansson for all his touchdowns as a WR and welcome him to the trainerstaff.

Group B 2014/10/17

A week off from national duty for us due to 5 team group schedule.

Games to follow:

New Zealand vs Poland 7:30 -ALREADY PLAYED - Result: 24-28
Poland ended up barely winning the match with 4 points. An very equal match to judge by the result. Both QB Mike Leota and Pawel Ochocinski ended up on a 54% Pass completion but because of less good effort from the New Zealand Punter compared to Poland, Pawel had short way to the touchdown zone.

Colombia vs Switzerland 21:00
In my opinion this COULD be todays most exciting match. Colombia has showed and very "up and down" performance. From 63-69 against New Zealand to scoring only 13 points against Sweden. I guess everything can happen in this game and for Swedens sake, i hope we'll see another 63 points to Colombia Another loss for Switzerland will benefit us in our struggle towards top 2 in the qualification.

USA vs France 21:00
Two giants in this game. And an very important match for USA to qualify to World cup.

Finland vs Bulgaria 12:00
Our neighbors Finland will play against Grid-iron's newest NT Bulgaria. Just like every match mentioned this is another important match. For Finland it could cost them their chance of qualifying so they really need to win this match. Bulgaria are not likely going to qualify this season either, they're a new team and need some seasons to get going with first of all an experienced squad. But its still an important match for them to prove themselfes to everyone else.
GAME FINISHED 31-7
Slow start for both teams, until last quarter they had the result 10-7 but then Finland stepped up and got 3 touchdowns to make the final result 31-7.

Tomorrow 07:30 - New Zealand vs Sweden.

Its very early for our Swedish players, hopefully the "time twist" wont bother them because this match is one of the most important we got left. If Sweden for the first time shall see the real world cup we have to win 3 more matches due to score difference. Will have to put my alarm early to check for injuries but i hope it will be worth it

Menoto, Geten2 and all Swedish managers out there I hope you will all be there 07:30 to show them your support aswell as i will
