Shame we didn't have a debate. Congrats to PHI on the coaching gig. Let me know if you need anything

I'm going to apologize ahead of time if there's a bad showing this season. I've been scouting players for a while in case I got the opportunity to do this again. However, I've had a heck of a week since I got selected as USA NT coach. I won't bore you with all the details, but I was unable to even look at the roster until yesterday afternoon. Fortunately, I had done a lot of scouting beforehand or I would have been in real trouble. As it is, there's still a lot of scouting I would have liked to have gotten done, but I went with what I had.
You will see a lot of new faces on the NT this season. First thing I did was remove all players over 30 that were on human managed teams. Some still had good stats, but as the season goes on, those players will lose skills and could become less and less effective. Looking towards the end of the season, I didn't want to be hampered with continually degrading players, so I cut them off now. I apologize to anybody that may be upset about their player being removed, but I have a feeling you may be removing them from your own team before the season ends as well.
I put more emphasis on offense and defense and left the special teams a little bare. The kicker is on a bot team, so I don't have to worry about him getting injured. One RB that was added was added primarily as a KR and two CB's double as gunners also. So even though special teams only has three players, there are sufficient players to cover. I just felt it better to take care of offense and defense first.
If you have any questions about the new team, feel free to ask. If you want to know why a certain player didn't make the team, feel free to ask, but most likely the answer will be one of two possibilities, 1) His stats were close, but not quite as good as what was on the team and I didn't need the extra spot at that position, or 2) I wasn't able to scout that player and don't know what I'm missing.
Anyway, congrats to the new NT players and their managers. Hopefully, I can do our country proud this time.

That was a close one. It looks like Turkey hit a few more big plays than USA and they did throw an interception but that was a tight match.

Looking at the box score, Turkey scored all but one of its touchdowns on plays in its own half of the field. Sometimes, the hail mary pays off in a big way. Today, the USA got away with a win, but Turkey certainly exceeded expectations.
