Italy won't bot, they have too much pride, plus they are likely going to the finals this season either way. If they do bot, then so bet it.......as I've already heard, we shouldn't be in this position anyway. As for the future WC coach, I have already expressed an interest in this position too, so we'll have to see how the voting goes before anyone lays claim to the position. I can tell you my opinion is that these other countries are far more organized with their world cup rosters than the USA team. If we really want to be more effective, it will take an organizational effort by all the top managers in the game and right now, that's just not there. We have talked about it, done a bit here and there, but not consistently every season and followed up on every season.

nice showing against Poland today.

Crespo just seems to win. I'm surprised at Phipps' record though. He's lost what... his last 3 starts?
Not sure why he doesn't show up in the big games.
