Any people here interested in Red Bull Air Race?
This weekend the Air Race is in Germany, on the Lausitzring. The Lausitzring is 8 minutes from my house away.
You have to know, that the Lausitzring is 150km from Berlin away and surrounded by small villages, for example Schipkau
It´s very cool, because the Air Race is otherwise in Japan, Abu Dhabi, Indianapolis or Las Vegas, but now in Klettwitz (Schipkau). It is a small village with less than 1,000 inhabitants.
Today, the little airplanes fly over the villages. It´s very cool, because they fly very deep, are very noisy or make loopings...
At the weekend I´m there, I am very excited about it and hope that it is not raining

Australia’s Matt Hall won the sixth round of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship series on Sunday 4 September 2016.
He flew a blinding final round, which race leader and home-crowd favourite Matthias Dolderer (GER) couldn’t match.....
The next round of the Red Bull Air Race is in Indianapolis, USA, 1-2 October 2016.

It was very awesome
At the weekend, there were about 100,000 people at the Lausitzring!
On Saturday the weather was very good and it was perfect for the Air Race.
On Sunday there was an hour rain, and the race had to be postponed. But after the rain, the Air Race could begin.
It´s very nice to see this little planes. Because they fly with 350 km/h (=220mp/h) very deep (approximately 20 meters = 65 ft around the ground).
The German Dolderer was celebrated by the spectators. It was very nice that he was on the 2nd place, because he was not good in qualifying.
I would also see Air Race in Indianapolis. It´s a nice place for Nascar or Air Race, too.

The article did say Dolderer is still in good position to win the points chase for the season

That is correct!
Dolderer has 11 points more than Matt Hall. Hall have to win both Races in USA and Dolderer have to be 4th or 5th... that is nearly impossible...
Hannes Arch is dead!!
Yesterday, The Austrian winner of the Red Bull Air Race 2008 had an accident with a helicopter in Austria...
Last weekend, I saw him fly the plane...
Very sad...
