I'm just hoping my opponents' players with energy <90 fall asleep in the second quarter

I managed to beat him in our rematch. Luckily, my QB had a great game and we managed to out score him. My defense had a tough time trying to slow down his offense!

I'm screwed then as this is my team's second full season and we're still run-first

You can continue to advance up into division III as a run first team and you can be a strong competitor in division III running, it just might be tough winning division III if you are still a running team. This means you have plenty of time to develop your passing game but you will want to get your QB and receivers built up over the next few seasons.

Kaz and the Chargers both dominated div III with all run attacks, finishing 1-2. It was div II that crushed their run teams

Edit: sorry, the chargers went bot that season, but they smashed my team in the second game of the season. I finished 2nd that season to kaz. Kaz would have been 18-0 if he hadn't of put his back ups in the last game against the GK Giants

So I might be ok in the league but my cup run is likely to be over then...

Ah well, time to finish up the physicals and build the training hall

Somehow, the bot team I'm facing today randomly ended up with their $102K QB at his normal position. Hopefully this will not spell doom for my back ups

Apparently, he's not able to pass very well to bots, so my rookie is looking fine

So an update for those who may have been seeing my posts the last week. The game against Galactica does look to be a good game to this point with the Clayton Bears holding a 14-7 lead at the half. It's been a pretty tough defensive battle and could go either way.

Looks like there may be some stamina issues for the Galactica side, will have to keep an eye on him for the next season
