Bad news: 2 injuries on Croatia. 1 of them is a first team WR...

Yeah, that sucks. Could have happened to Germany, too. I hope Croatia has a good replacement. I don't want to final to be (partly) deciced by that. Without the delay, there wouldn't have been a new training update.

Congratulations, Hedda! Well deserved World Cup champion! You beat the US and Germany in the Semis and the Final, doesn't get much bigger than that.

I can't blame myself or the team here. You just build a great team, with a lot of players coming from your squad. There was no weakness you can attack.

In the end, I think the deciding factor in the game was your Pass Rush against Germanys OL. You constantly put pressure on Aders. For the first three quarters, someone made a play and kept the drives alive. In the end, it was too much to handle.

For me, that was one of the "best" losses in a big game I had. There was nothing fluky or some GI bullshit going on. Two great teams facing each other, one has to win and you were just that little bit better today. It sure helps that I have a lot of respect for you and how you build this team. Of course I would have liked to win my third World Cup, but you deserve that win today. And when I look at the age structure of your team, I'm not sure you'll go away anytime soon.

Enjoy this victory!

I don't believe this

Congrats Germany and liberalmente! It was a thrilling game!

I was displeased to see that we have the first possession of the game as matches are often decided when one team has the last drive in the first half and then again opens up the second half. It didn't turn out to be the case even though we were always behind.

All in all, it was really fun being part of this experience.
First I had to analyze Germany's tactics then I analyzed my own and tried to see what liberalmente would make of it. I'm happy with the way I organized our play, I guess I got lucky, our better LB was covering their TE, our stronger pass rusher attacked their weaker OL ecc.

We still need to find at least one decent safety and I hope we'll move to at least 27th position in the GI rankings

Congrats also to the US team on another medal

True Nice to see a real match without that silly home field advantage. It could have gone either way and it would have been absolutely fair. I was just that little bit luckier today.

Beautiful match, between huge teams and smart managers. The ideal combination for the final stage of WC.
The impressive croatian defense started working only in the fourth quarter, but it was enough!
Previously, the german hammers oriented the match in a precise direction, but the surprise was behind the corner...

Hedda deserves the title, his team is simply the most balanced of all, and this happened since the first round. Today he also managed to hide the absence of his main WR, Mustač.

Liberalmente collect a new prestigius medal, confirming that the german community continues to produce talents and quality. Germany NT is always in good hands.

Yeah, I think that was a pretty big factor. I saw you don't change your OLB much. I knew you would react to me, but this is always a 50/50 thing. Axel Jones is a beast. But he played against a beast today. von Eitzen had a great game and Jones made some plays, but Germany would have needed a little bit more from him to win.

But that's all part of it. I won't complain, for sure. And not having any weaknesses the opponent can attack is part of being a great team.

That loss is maybe even unluckier than UK's loss to Germany for WC18. There must be a line of code stopping managers winning a third world cup when they get close.

What a great game though, and so good to see a new champion from one of the unseeded nations. Congrats Hedda, and welcome to the World Cup winners' club.

No way! I was the winner in that game and as happy as I was, I felt sorry for you guys. Because that was such a heart breaker.

Now I'm on the losing side and I don't feel like someone took something away from me at all. 0-21 in the 4th sounds harsh, but there was nothing fluky there. WC 18 final was very GI-ish.

btw: if there would be a code for preventing the 3rd World Cup win, you'd be probably be the one who wrote it, seeing that you won 4.
