But, luckily for you, there won't be much better players for your team in the world...
I made the same experience with team Austria some wc-cycles ago

I noticed it now... We are going to have 6 games at 21:00. Seems like all CSA and NA national teams are playing at home this week!

P.S.: we have 7 NT from CSA and NA (Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, USA and Venezuela)

No worries.

Your saftey is guaranteed to be injury free since he is on a BOT team, so just play with one FS/C. Otherwise, you are covered by decent players. I doubt that more than one or two positions could be improved with younger players.

Your 19 yo RB with 1 star BPOS is the only flaw I see...

What is happening? I only see one player out of position...

Edit: Ok, you are running all plays with only a FB that is not even a RB BPOS... complete mess!

There are a few players I would have liked to got back into the team, especially defensively, but it is what it is. Good luck Brazil, I don't think you'll need it.

Oh... I think I should have accepted your luck offer...

As I said, my defense is worse than the last 2 cycles. I am depending on awesome performances from my offense. This time 56 points were not enough to cover my defensive troubles.

Ok guys, week 2 is over and we have some great stories from today. I will try to summarize what happened:

Group A

Spain (1-1) showed a solid game today against Czech Republic (0-2) and is in a better situation on the group. On the other match, the first round winners faced each other: Sweden (2-0) did it well and achieved a superb victory over Russia (1-1). Next week Russia and Spain will have an important game that may define the future of this group...

Group B

Once again we have seen an awful game by Canada (0-2)... and it was worse than in the first week as they were defeated by Denmark (1-1) by 77-0! And what to say about the other game? It was one of the most interesting games I have ever seen here! Slovenia (2-0) and Netherlands (1-1) exchanged 5 interceptions... all in the first half! And most impressive: 3 of them in just 2 minutes! And what to say about Slovenia last drive? It was 8:23 campaign, 16 plays... finishing in a 29 yard field goal... MISSED! What a crazy game! Just as crazy as Slovenia leading the group with ease so far!

Group C

Italy (2-0) have made another standard game against Ireland (0-2) with no surprises (and no excitement at all). But it is enough to take the lead. While that, we have seen a very exciting game (and it is not because I am the Brazil manager) between New Zealand (1-1) and Brazil (1-1). After a better 1st half, the brazilian team let the win go away on the second half showing all the problems of tits defense. The New Zealand made a superb game, with 2 interceptions and 74% pass rating and now is battling for the 2nd place. This group may have some drama now (and it is not because of Italy).

Group D

UK (1-0) made its debut today with an easy (and expected) win over Venezuela (0-2). On the other game... ok, I will not make comments about Austria (1-1) tactics but the reality is that it was an easy game for Switzerland (1-1) recover from week 1 defeat.

Group E

This was the "group of debuts". Portugal (0-1) was a bit unlucky as the USA (2-0) decided to "make its debut" after a horrible game on week 1. A merciless 49-28 win for the american team. Ukraine (1-1), after botting on week 1, controlled all the game against Turkey (0-2) and is dreaming again with the WC.

Group F

The Group F*** is just for the best ones! Finland (1-1) put a 28-0 leading over Germany (1-1) in 33 minutes. Ok, I thought: "it is over for Germany". Then I watched again and the german team was really close to a game tie! But the finnish team finished well and defeated one the biggest favourites. The other game was more exciting than the score tells. Hungary (1-1) was unlucky and suffered with "clock management" in half time and in the end of the game. If they had some more time, Croatia (1-0) could have had more trouble to take this victory. It seems like that the reigning champions have talent and luck after all. And Group F*** is getting more complicated every week...

Group G

Another big contender made its debut today. france (1-0) started with a tight win over Bulgaria (1-1) that was another team affected by clock issues at the end of the game. On the other game, Mexico (0-2) played the same plot from week 1: a fairly good first half and a disappointing game finish... Serbia (1-1) managed to get a comeback after scoring 3 unanswered TDs at 3rd and 4th quarters. The victory is always good but Serbia showed again some flaws... 3 interceptions and a nervous game against a declining team is not the best signal for anybody...

Group H

Argentina (1-1) was the last one to make its debut on week 2. In a game between 2 underrated CSA teams, "Los Hermanos" played way better than Colombia (0-2) and started well this cycle. While that, Australia (2-0) keeps looking really strong with another easy win. Belgium (1-1) had nothing to do to avoid the defeat. Let´s keep an eye on the aussie team!
