How bad can a QB be?

My QB had 1 completed pass in the whole game, surely he cant be that bad, neither are my WR.

I am not sure, but its either the Engine which is rubbish or our bunch of player. Both options dont make me feel like keeping on with the game, when I have to wait like months to have at least a half decent team....

This game just started so you can't really expect to start with good players. Furthermore, you had some bad luck and your opponent probably set his defensive formation the right way. You will notice that there's a lot of passes where your QB is "under pressure".
And for the end, in real football, passing is much much harder to play than rushing (but has bigger rewards when played properly of course), so the thing you complain about is normal (at least in my opinion) for a bunch of (for now) amateur players.

True, but I think I got one of the best quarterback's in the game (6 passing,7 vision, 7 intelligence and 7 footwork) and with a natural affection of being a QB and still he can't pass 100 yards a game, while running teams get 400-500 running yards each game....sounds kinda rubbish. If you don't want to have a game of 100% running teams, passing plays should be more efficient.

Conversely I got 219 passing yards, and 138 rushing yards.

Whilst my opponent only got 38 rushing yards and 0 passing yards.

I just depends on what formation you run out of, I put alot of thought into what I ran

I'd agree with the point of view that an amateur player versus pros may be lucky to complete 1 pass, but one would think that versus similar talent levels passing would be a little more viable than 25% completion percentages for teams. I'm still giving everything time to play out but the low completion % has me worried to say the least.

Completely agree, in our friendly match it was a disappointment to see that not even 5% of the passes were good. With about the same low levels in team players and a not that bad QB (6 and 7's on vision, intelligence, passing, footwork..) i hoped to get more than one pass right. But apparently those passes we'll only see on TV

yeah, I hear you guys! I'm thinking of getting a ball firing machine to be my QB. Through the first quarter of my team's first game, I've run for 200+ with 3 TDs. 27YPC seems a little high... I'm not sure I'll be passing anytime soon if the other teams are missing 3 tackles per play!

Someone needs to balance the game out because it's completely ridiculous right now!

Then again, my QB does have a TD pass and about 100 yards rushing...

At this point passing is just not a viable tactic. qb's are awful. I'm even thinking about running a 5 defensive line setup just to try and counter the run first game that it's become. Again, I know it's a beta. I'm not quitting just noticing that one tactic is completely not viable and given the rate of training probably won't be viable for the entire season, if ever.
