On your first day on this online game... what are your advices in what not to do or what to do?

I'll say: don't spend your money on players. First, read the rules, the faq and then determine what skills needs every positions. and then go on TM and buy something.

I'd say: Don't release any of your players until you have checked out the free agent market, your guys don't seem as bad once you have seen some of the trash getting thrown out there.
