Rockets gave the Winners a pretty good beat down proving they are the tops in this league by a long way. Final weekend match-up versus the Terps is essentially meaningless -- at least for the Rockets.

Blitz, Terps and Winners still trying to maneuver into 2nd place and perhaps the favorite for next season...

Well, at the time of that post I was counting on the Peanuts moving up which ofcourse now isn't a given.

With the Peanuts moving up, it would leave the Xtreme, Thunder and Laval. The Thunder proved in the game against the Vengeance that they can't play with the big boys. The XTreme barely squeaked by a Western Winners team in the cup that I put up 76 points on in two games this season. You could beat me but it won't be more than once. Laval is the only real wildcard since they seem to upset quite frequently and have beaten me in the past.

If Atomic sticks around I might be a little scared since Isaac has a history of beating my team. But other than that, I'm not too worried. I mean I'm moving into a league with one less human, my team has played more games than any team in that division, and my defensive points allowed is at the same level despite having 1 less bot in my league and playing backups most of the season.

Final 8 in the Cup is a given for most good teams. Hell, I have no doubt I would have gotten there had I not drawn Merc. There were maybe five teams left in the cup at that point that could have beaten me and the Docs were one of those teams. It was more bad luck than anything and it's not like I got beaten badly. The only ways I see Toledo losing II.3 next season are either if Isaac sticks around, if Toledo gets beaten by tie break on PD, or if I quit before next season due to the lack of gameplay advancement. In anyway, the division will require far less thinking than I needed this year. It'll likely be a "set it and forget it" year since nobody plays any outrageous formations and my new OL is finally up to speed.

Gotta love a new rivalry!
