The Rockets beat Boise State today in a full starter friendly 34-24. Just goes to show that positional rating isn't everything!

or it was a fluke
but seriously, good game.
i got 1 more week until my next friendly cup starts if anyone is up for a big game.

edit:
and i play the Megalopolis Monsters next week.

Will the game against Mega be starters as well? Will surely look forward to that if so.

It will be a rematch, so i'm sure he wants to prove himself. i'll give him my starters.

I will play my starters, I want to try a little different strategy and maybe some of my very good backups to see what happens. Still thinking about what I will do or who I will put in though.

Isaac, I'm interested in how you figure the wins over humans. Because, for example, my team has beaten 5 humans in league, but when looking at the league now you'd think we only beat 3 because 2 have gone bot since I played them.

It's not a bad idea, there are just things that, with the way the game is set up, aren't very ranking friendly.

For the top three divisions, I've tracked wins, and wins over humans from the beginning of this season. To be honest, I have not really included any teams from division IV (or lower) except for Sagunoff Eagles - and that's only because I was in a division with them two seasons ago. There was just too much data to do anything outside the top three divisions.

Once the cup gets down to 16 teams, if there are any teams from IV (or lower) left, I'll go back and try to do their data retroactively - and that's when your concern becomes real. I'd probably have to follow up personally with those teams to verify number of wins over humans.

Gotcha. So you've basically went through and kept up with this all season? That's got to be a lot of information to keep up with.

Keep up the good work though. These rankings make things that much more fun and getting differing opinions makes it more interesting.

Yes 2-3 different polls lets us see who are to good teams are as everyone as there own views or way they calculate it but i dont see why im included when i only got 1 human team of which i have beat twice but im surprised you remember your old punching bag from Div 4

I too like what you've done. And I think I've finally been able to work my rankings out to an algorithm so thats whats been taking so long. I'm off to enter the information for the last 10 weeks for 4 divisions. Will post the rankings when I'm finished.

Edit: This is gonna be a long while, in case anybody is wondering, there's 125 human managed teams in NA Div. I,II,III, and IV.
