Why is there a 23% (of the final price) tax on my own youngsters if I want to sell them on the bidding thing. Sure I only have them for one week, but this isn't daytrading! Or am I wrong?

If you mean the youth players you got through your ranks by saying "Youngsters", these players have only been in your team for a week...

So avoid alot of the 23% you must keep the player for more weeks.

It states it in the FAQ:

"GIDoT is the sole taxation authority in the Grid-Iron world. The department's goal is to keep the players in their respective teams for at least one whole season before they are transfered out. As a result of this, if the player is at his team for:

- less than 1 week the tax is 23% of the amount the player was sold for
- 1 week, the tax is 22% of the amount the player was sold for
- 2 weeks, the tax is 21% of the amount the player was sold for
- 3 weeks, the tax is 20% of the amount the player was sold for
- 4 weeks, the tax is 19% of the amount the player was sold for
- 5 weeks, the tax is 18% of the amount the player was sold for
- 6 weeks, the tax is 17% of the amount the player was sold for
- 7 weeks, the tax is 16% of the amount the player was sold for
- 8 weeks, the tax is 15% of the amount the player was sold for
- 9 weeks, the tax is 14% of the amount the player was sold for
- 10 weeks, the tax is 13% of the amount the player was sold for
- 11 weeks, the tax is 12% of the amount the player was sold for
- 12 weeks, the tax is 11% of the amount the player was sold for
- 13 weeks, the tax is 10% of the amount the player was sold for
- 14 weeks, the tax is 9% of the amount the player was sold for
- 15 weeks, the tax is 8% of the amount the player was sold for
- 16 weeks, the tax is 7% of the amount the player was sold for
- 17 weeks, the tax is 6% of the amount the player was sold for
- 18 weeks, the tax is 5% of the amount the player was sold for
- 19 weeks, the tax is 4% of the amount the player was sold for
- 20 weeks or more, the tax is 3% of the amount the player was sold for"

Regards.

i am sorry for you for losing money.

It depends whether you think you will gain/lose money in the long run...Remember the players have wages. Offest this against the tax paid.

You are right I ment the youth players and I knew the statement in the FAQ. But I disagree with you that it should be applyed for your own youth players.

I think people should be encouraged to promote youngsters.
And by having to pay a lot of taxes, people aren't encouraged at all...

Zero Team Chemistry is ok with me. Because they have no Team Chemistry as Youngters. But a tax on selling them, which normaly should limit daytrading is something different.

Dont you mean people are encouraged...

Because if they sell, they will lose out on alot of money, no?

I understand what you mean Buliwyf, but if you read on the youth page, these players were from nearby schools etc...They have not been brought up in an academy etc...

No.
Would you sell any youngsters if you have to pay a tax of 23%?
