From what I see in FAQ about training, there is training for 5 attacking skills, 3 defense, 3 physical , 2 kicking and 2 tactical skills.
Which are them ?
I will make a guess:

Attacking: Carrying, Passing, Catching, Footwork, Carrying, Positioning, Speed
Defense: Tackling, Blocking ,Positioning, Speed
Physical: Speed, Strength, Agility, Stamina
Kicking: Kicking , Punting
Tactical: Vision and Positioning

I excluded Intelligence skill, as I can see in the announcement about Intelligence:

We found out that the players are only getting low intelligence starting levels (similar to their skills) and this is a bug as intelligence itself cannot be gained by training.

Just look at a training page carefully:

Attacking: Carrying, Passing, Catching, Footwork, Agility
Defense: Tackling, Blocking ,Agility
Fitness: Speed, Strength, Stamina
Kicking: Kicking , Punting
Tactical: Vision and Positioning

Agility is both attacking and defending skill.

Intelligence is not trainable.

Can someone please explain to me why blocking is a defensive skill and not an offensive skill in this game? That makes no sense to me.

Maybe they just placed it in training wherever and were thinking in terms of what an OL does when blocking.
i.e. run blocking by an OL is an attacking action but pass blocking is more of a defensive action ???

Go out of your way a little and search the forum.

You will find a handful of threads based on this.
