OK, maybe this is just one opinion, but this game definitely needs big improvements. I started to play with a lot of enthusiasm, but now, after twenty days I don't feel so good about this game.
Why?
There are several reasons:
1. Players on the very low level with slightly differences between them don't brings much fun. When you look at the market, you can not find almost anything decent.
2. When it comes to the games it is just a matter of luck who will win (in a games with "live" managers) and it is absolutely sure that you will win when playing against a bot.
3. Training is very slow. With so much skills for each player and so many trainings needed for just one popup we will need several seasons to create at least average players.
4. Hidden information about skills needed for a certain position makes a little bit more confusion because there no real chance that we will ever be sure what combination of skills is needed for player to play good (parallels with real life can be a little help, but this is a game, not a real life and we can not know what developers had in their minds when writing a formulas). Also, there will always be a possibility that someone somehow get this valuable information (let's say: some spy, admin's friend or someone...) and this will be a huge privilege.
Sure, there are probably different opinions, but I have a feeling that there is a huge lack or rhythm in a game and right now I feel that it is just enough to login two or three times per week for a few minuts and that everything more is just a waste of time...

.... and it is absolutely NOT (you forgot it i suppose) sure that you will win when playing against a bot.

In my series a bot won already 1 match!

I agree with jaques on all this. There simply isn't enough to do in the game and the things that have to be done during the week (lineup tactics, construction, pulls) take all of 5 minutes combined. Although setting the lineup is a pain in the ass I'm afraid.

It's all well and good that you made the game simple, but its hard to get excited about a game with no real features that consume a bit of time.

people have to remember what position they are represeting on the team. We are owners and coaches and general managers. we don't have to practice, we don't play in the games. There is plenty to do in the off time between games. scout opponents, watch the transfer lists, engage in discussions to learn more about the game. Life is not all about push button get cheese, and if it is then I hear the pavlovs are doing research again. just follow the bell.

Indeed, this is a manager game, not a rpg.

Did you read my post? Dynamics is just one (probably least important) problem in the game right now. I understand that it will be different when cup starts. But what about other, more important problems?

I'm not talking about action and instant gratification. I am fully aware that this is a manager game, that's why I started playing it. I'm saying that for a manager game, it really hasn't got very many things to do. Most of my time here is spent just surfing around on the forum and rechecking things I have already set. And I really don't spend a lot of time on this game to begin with.

Most important problem Jack already explained

Hidden information about skills needed for a certain position makes a little bit more confusion because there no real chance that we will ever be sure what combination of skills is needed for player to play good (parallels with real life can be a little help, but this is a game, not a real life and we can not know what developers had in their minds when writing a formulas).

Game maker make a lot of mistakes already, so how can we know what they think is more important for any position and how they experiance am. football??? Even player's natural playing role is ..., very often don't make any sense

Woah Woah Woah! Hold your horses guys.

This is a beta season. The game has been running since the beginning of August, loosen up! What the devlopers have done so far should be good enough, but all we can do is take, take and take, right?

These guys have a life too, you know. I'm sure they will implement many of the suggestions, but once they feel the need too. Non-supporters have been lucky enough to gain the default setup! Brandishing "Game maker make a lot of mistakes already, so how can we know what they think" isn't going to help either. I'd like to see you do a better job.

Personally, I feel that the lack of knowledge towards playing your players in which position is rather amusing and one of the highlights of the game. You are able to train and build your team the way YOU want to. Therefore, every team will be different, which is a positive.

As for the training taking so long. I don't know about you, but I would not like to see everyone with players who have maximised their talent potential in the first couple of seasons. This game is for the long haul, not a one season wonder.

Don't flame me for having a different opinion.
