Back after a brief vacation.

Week 15 of the season is in the books. Let’s look at what happened in Division II.2 and what will come next week.

Toledo Vengeance took care of the Poo Choo Express and effectively secured the promotion to the Top Division barring monumental collapse.

Everyone else took care of the bots.

Schedule for next week:

The H-Town Indians and the Toledo Vengeance match up and the Megopolis Monsters and the Chthonian Rebukers do as well. With a victory here the Vengeance will be one step closer to the TD. Everyone else is playing for pride.

Everyone else has a bot and should win as long as tactics are set.

Promotion/Demotion:

If the season ended today here are the changes that would happen.

Promotion to Top Division – Toledo Vengeance
Demotion to Division III – Green Devils (bot) Oakland Destruction (bot) The Human Paraquats (bot)
Promotions from Division III – Lebanon Gila Monsters (Division III.4) Paxtang Giant Hornets (Division III.5) Orange County Lakers (Division III.6)
Demotions from Top Division – I believe we would get the River City Bandits but not sure.

I've been meaning to ask this question. I know how promotions are decided, but how are demotions decided?

My best guess was that it involved multiplying by three...

for instance, Div. IV.27

Leagues V.79, V.80 and V.81 promote to this league...

For demotions from this league, it seems like you would take 27 and multiply by 3, which is 81...

So the 10th place team would drop to V.81
the 9th place team would drop to V.80
and the 8th place team would drop to V.79

Or I could be totally off base!

Best I can tell demotions are random. I saw a team drop from III.7 to IV.2.

Not really sure I was just guessing that it would go linear i.e. the 8th place team would go to the first division the 9th place team the second division and the 10th place team the third division. Haven't paid much attention to this before so we will have to see once promotions/demotions are processed.
